Hello abhinay,

Congratulations on getting an offer from nanoscience engineering. In terms of scope it has huge opportunity in the upcoming generations. It is the third highest booming field when it's compared it and medicine. The Indian government has already started nanoscience and nano technology initiatives and various funding from different organisations.

In job opportunities one can be nanotechnologists or scientists. The area in which they can work are agriculture, biotechnology, space research, medicine.

The eligibility criteria for the BTech in Genetical Engineering suggests that the student must have passed 10+2 with certain percentage (decided by the institute you are taking admission in) in Physics , Chemistry , Biology / Mathematics . So yeah! If you have Biology then you can take admission in the BTech Genetical Engineering but for the admission to any engineering course you have to give some entrance. Now the engineering entrances three subjects such as Physics, chemistry and Mathematics. So you have to clear the Mathematics paper in entrance as the paper for all Engineering courses are the same.

For more information regarding BTech in Genetical Engineering consider the link below:

I hope this helps. Wish you a great day!

College Infrastructure

Our college provides excellent Wi-Fi. The labs have good computers. Classrooms are clean and have good lighting effects. The library has many books. The good part is that they allow us to borrow for many days, and the penalty is less for late submissions. Every odd semester, we have a fest. The hostel is not very good, and the food is not good.
