IIT DHANBAD:  Placements : The placement percentage is quite high as in most of the IITs. Around 80% of the students in B.Tech programmes get placed. Placement percentage of the branches like Electronics and Communication engineering and computer science is 90% whereas the civil department lacks a bit regarding placements. The highest salary package offered was 36 LPA and was offered to the students of CSE department.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure of the college is quite good and is still developing.

The average salary package offered was around 11 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 39 LPA, by Adobe company. Almost 87% of students from B.Tech got placed into renowned companies like Adobe, ISRO, DRDO, etc. The placement cell of IIT, Bhubaneswar is called career development cell. It conducts placements according to their procedures which are provided on the website of IIT. 

You can choose any of them according to your convenience. Both are good College.

Placements at iit bhubaneswar is more better than iit indore electrical. 

These are some previous records - 

The average salary package offered was around 11 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 39 LPA, by Adobe company. Almost 87% of students from B.Tech got placed into renowned companies like Adobe, ISRO, DRDO, etc. 

There is a significant increase in the number of core companies visiting IIT Bhubaneswar. This time more than 50 companies came for recruitment. Although there is no international offer made as CSE being a relatively newer branch here, still the performance of students is on par.

Branch wise Analysis-

1) Computer Science and Engineering -

Highest- 39 LPA

Average – 14 LPA

2) Electrical Engineering –

Highest- 29.6 LPA

Average – 10 LPA

Placement Percentage -83.34%

3) Mechanical Engineering –

Highest- 31.5 LPA

Average – 9.39 LPA

Placement Percentage -91.42%

Few things to notice that electrical and mechanical performance is really better than other branches.

Now you are confused between three options, whether to choose ECE in IIT Bhubaneswar, or Metallurgical engineering in IIT Kharagpur or chemical engineering in IIT Bombay.

I would suggest you to opt for ECE in IIT Bhubaneswar.

ECE is one of the emarging engineering branch of the world. So the placement opportunities are increasing day by day. But chemical engineering and metallurgical engineering are facing placement problem now. If you wants a good package then go for ECE.

3 IITs are same according to infrastructure,faculties,hostel facilities, laboratories, tech club, sports club etc.

And keep it in your mind that placement depends upon a candidate's hard skills and soft skills.

Hey Rishi! It is not easy as branch can be changed only after first year, this is known as branch sliding. For branch sliding candidate willing to do so must have a very good academic performance in the first year on the basis of which the candidate is judged and is allowed or rejected for branch slide. 

Dear Aspirant 

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance that you deserve both of the nice college and I would like to tell you that based on three choices if you were to take my opinion then I would suggest you to take admission in chemical engineering at iit Bombay because it is most prestigious college in the country unlike iit bhubaneswar. But if you are interested in metallurgy then iit Kharagpur is also a better place than iit bhubaneswar. So choose smartly considering my views.

Placements: Opportunities are wide, one can get a job opportunity in both core and non core companies and one can take a job which can give him satisfaction and salary, campus also encourage startups and senior's will help in your ideas, one can take higher studies by shifting to M.Tech which helps them to get a job (higher position).Statistics of placements here are great. Around 70-80% of students do get placed. The average for Non-CS and non-EC branches is roughly 10-12 lakhs. The internship is much more fight from the campus.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good 24/7 Wi-Fi and LAN which help students to clear their doubts at hostel.

ECE is one of the new branches in IIT Bhubaneswar. The first batch of this branch will be out in 2020. Electrical engineering is present in IIT Bhubaneswar right from its beginning.Before 2016 the electrical engineering in IIT Bhubaneswar is a combination of traditional electrical and electronics engineering(EEE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE). From 2016 batch both the courses have been divided. A good number of Core companies,Sofware companies and PSU’s hire Electrical Engineers from IIT Bhubaneswar. You can assume that same fashion continues for ECE students also.

Hence, i would suggest you go for IIT bhubaneshwar

EEE involves electronics and electrical study while ECE involves study of electronics and some part of communications. In core companies, demand of EEE is more in comparison to ECE. Whereas ECE students can apply for IT companies as well. EEE students don't have much scope in IES while ECE students have. EE- It goes deep into the study of electrical devices such as transformers, generators etc . It deals with the devices which use large power and currents. Difficulty wise: I think EE is a bit tougher than EC.In ECE, the scope to land into government jobs is great. If you choose basically on your interest then you will surely excel there. So, rest is upon you.
