You should choose IIT Patna obviously. It have ranked overall 26 in NIRF ranking. Where as NIT Kurukshetra has ranked 40 overall in NIRF ranking . So from my opinion you should choose between IIT Patna or NIT Kurukshetra. If we see placement wise both the colleges

Hoping that you are doing fine in global pandemic . I think you should opt for IIT Patna Civil or Chemical with comparison to ISM Dhanbad metallurgy . As IIT Patna is better alternative than ISM Dhanbad due to it's better NIRF Ranking , Placements , Labs etc.
