IIT Patna M.E /M.Tech. Fees 2026
MTech students must pay the IIT Patna total fees of Rs 1.69 lakhs. Tuition fees of Rs 80,000 is to be paid as per the IIT Patna MTech fee structure. Academics
The professors are really helpful specially in MBA batch. It's a hybrid course. They have all the curriculum from New Education Policy. They teach skills like coding and analysis along with the traditional MBA subjects.
College Infra
The infrastructure of IIT Patna is good. The classes and buildings have all the necessities that are needed for a good institute. They have good auditorium and cafes inside the campus. the canteen food is okay.
Campus Life
Great campus life, amazing fests and good, decent crowd. they students are well behaved.
Placements
Placements as far as I know, is okayish. I have has some seniors in loop and they tell me that even after good companies that come for hiring, they offer no so decent packages. but also depends on the student's knowledge and skills.
Value For Money
I am about to graduate in the coming year, so i am not sure about how much it is valuable but having IIT's name on your degree and CV is a plus point in itself.

Academics
Academics at Indian Institute of Technology Patna are quite rigorous but in a good way. The professors are knowledgeable and generally approachable if you’re willing to put in the effort. The curriculum is updated and includes practical exposure through projects and assignments, making it relevant to industry needs
College Infra
Indian Institute of Technology Patna has good overall infrastructure. Classrooms are modern with smart boards, and WiFi works fine most of the time. The library is well-equipped, and labs are decent for practical learning. The campus is clean, and sports facilities are available. Hostels are okay with basic amenities, and the mess food is average. Overall, it’s comfortable for student life

Yes it is safe and the teacher and staffs are really supportive
Placements
Placements at Indian Institute of Technology Patna are quite decent, especially for tech branches. Good companies do visit, and most students who are consistent with their studies and skills manage to get placed. The average package is respectable, and a few high offers come every year. The placement cell also supports students with preparation and guidance.
