Amity University | M.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked amongst top 3% universities globally (QS Rankings).
Hello aspirant,
Though you belong to OBC category you don't have much chance of getting a seat in IIIT Bhubaneshwar with a rank of 92346. The cutoff rank is much lower than your rank. Getting a seat at any IIIT is difficult with this rank. But still you can try. You may get a seat in some of the lower ranked NITs like NIT Meghalaya. If you want to predict the colleges visit the link of college predictor tool of our website.
Thank you.
Dear candidate.... hope you're doing good..
Well, basing upon your category rank, it seems like you may not get admission into a reputed nit like nit Rourkela, nit Bhopal, nit Warangal, etc. But still you can give it a try at the time of spot round counseling and it's better to apply for colleges in your own home state so that the chances of getting admission are high.
Hope this helps you out ...
All the best!!
Hi Poornima,
At this rank, I don't think you would get any decent IIIT, NIT or GFTI. I would suggest you to keep your other options ready. You should also apply for CSAB special round of counseling, you might get a GFTI or IIIT in spot round. You can also apply for private colleges which accept JEE Main's rank. Below is the list of them:
All the best
COEP is one of the oldest colleges in the country and is well estabilished IIIT Guwahati is a new institute which is still developing. Both these colleges have there respective advantages as well as disadvantages and it is upto you as to which one you wish to choose according to your preference and what you are getting at the two colleges. Hope this helps.
Hello Satyendra,
At a percentile (NTA SCORE) of 84.09, you can expect a common rank list (CRL) of 1,30,000-1,40,000 this year in JEE Mains.
Now since you belong to OBC-NCL Category, getting NIT, IIIT at this rank range seems improbable. Hope that answers your question.
Hello aspirant,
Your crl is very low and also your category rank is still low so there are less chances of getting admission in any NIT or IIIT but you can still try in 6th round may be you will get a NIT in sc quota. Admission depends on various factors such as category, home state quota, branch selection, etc.
Hope this helps
If any queries feel free to ask
All the best!!
Regards
Hello Aspirant,
You can approach for management quota or by caste reservation you will definitely get a seat.
Good Luck.
Hi reddy
thanks for asking your query as per your performance and rank in jee mains you may not get any college like iiit or nit because your rank in both the categories are very low therefore i would suggest you to look for some good private engineering colleges with nice placement.
With this rank it will be very difficult for you to get a seat in the top IIITs and GFTIs. Although you might be able to get a seat in some GFTIs and IIITs but getting a good branch there will still be difficult. However you can try in the special round of counselling as you can have a better chance of getting a seat there. Hope this helps
As a third year B-tech student i have spent two years on campus and want to share my honest experience. Our college boasts a spacious and well maintained campus spread across around 30 acres. The main academic block are clean and fully functional with essential labs and new tech ,modern classrooms equipped with projectors and comfort seating there are also designated seminar halls and conference rooms on the ground floor of academic block. The academic block is mainly divided into 3 blocks, Block A, B and C including a very large and useful library in B block. Hostels are very close to academic block most of the hostel blocks consist of 9 floors each floor consists of 7 rooms with 6 three student rooms and 1 four student room. there is also single room hostels from second year but limited entries depending on CGPA of students. Hostel Mess is inside the hostel in ground and 1st floors. There is also a college canteen, Nescafe outlet (functioning up to 2 am ) and a stationary store inside campus. Whole campus including hostels is equipped with high speed WIFI up to a speed of 350mbps. The campus and hostels are maintained clean and tidy .Food is not the best and non native students find it difficult to maintain but there are other options plenty because mess fee is weekly and optional.
College infrastructure is overall good as it's just 23 acres but it is well maintained. All the required classes and labs are present in the academic block area. We have a large sports ground for football and cricket also.
College infrastructure is quite good there is lot of greenery in our college. Building are a bit old. Rooms are okayish i would say(enough for a person) college is small, it extends upto 30 acres. Overall it is not much bad
