JUIT Solan Facilities

Boys Hostel
Presently, the university has 13 boys hostels that can accommodate more than 1200 students. JUIT Solan boys facilities include canteen, mess facilities, dining ball, common room, wifi, etc.
Girls Hostel
The university has a separate hostel for girls. It can accommodate 545 students at a time. JUIT Solan girls facilities are canteen, mess facilities, common room, wifi, medical facilities, water supply etc.
Medical/Hospital
The university has two doctors (one lady doctor) along with supporting staff to cater to the medical needs of the university students, faculty and staff. An ambulance facility is provided on the campus for emergency cases. For indoor medical treatments, two beds are there for boys and one for girls.
Gym
The university has two gyms, one for boys and one for girls. The gym has all the machines that are needed for exercises such as treadmills, cross trainers, cycles etc.
Library
The university has a learning resource centre located in the academic block of the university. The centre is spread over 3 levels. The reading area of the centre can accommodate 295 users. The centre has a rich collection of books, journals, general interest, research reports, theses, atlases, patents etc.
Sports
The university offers various sports facilities for outdoor and indoor sports. A sports coordinator coordinates the university sports events; outdoor and indoor. Every year, PARAKRAM - a sports tournament is held in the university.
I.T Infrastructure
The university has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria offers a variety of food items, snacks, refreshments at a nominal profit margin. For various purposes, the menu in the cafeteria is changed every day.
Alumni Associations
Collaboration with Alumni Association and inputs from JUIT Alumni leads to visit by many companies for recruitment every year.
Convenience Store
The university has convenience shops for the benefit of students. All the items are sold with a nominal profit margin
Laboratories
A dedicated laboratory with 59 networked computers and preloaded software is centrally used by the students as University Computer Centre/Research Lab/Project Lab.
Physical Challenged Student
The University have ramps and lifts in its 80% of the building for the physical challenged students.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is good and well maintained. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors and proper seating arrangements. Laboratories have the necessary equipment for practical learning, although a few labs can be upgraded with more advanced systems.

The life here is good.

The college infrastructure is generally impressive and well-maintained. Our classrooms are equipped with modern smart boards and reliable Wi-Fi, which makes learning much more interactive. The facilities we have are good.
