NIT Puducherry Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

There are three hostels constructed on the premises of NIT Puducherry. Out of these three hostels, two hostels have been allotted to make students of the institute. The hostels are well-equipped with all the basic amenities and conveniences that are essential for a hosteller.

A guest house is constructed on the NIT Puducherry campus to accommodate important guests, guest lecturers, visiting faculty, and parents. The guest house is furnished with modern facilities and infrastructure, which will lead to a comfortable stay for the guests during their visit to NITPY.

There are different laboratories which are installed with all the modern machines and hi-tech equipment. These laboratories are used to conduct experiments and also help the students to execute their innovative ideas and undertake research programs. The laboratories facilitate practical knowledge of the subject at hand along with theoretical know-how of the particular specialization. Following are the laboratories present in the institute:

The NIT Puducherry offers indoor and outdoor sports facilities keeping in mind the importance of sports and physical fitness of the students. Sports like volleyball, badminton, table tennis, basketball, etc., are played by the students.

A division of the State Bank of India is situated in the NIT Puducherry campus, which provides banking services to the students and faculty members of NITPY. The students can withdraw money from their bank account whenever required from the ATM.

The café service provided to the students and faculty members of NITPY serves fresh and hygienic snacks and beverages at minimal prices.

The Central Store situated on the campus of NIT Puducherry enables the students to purchase essential items and commodities which are required on a regular basis. The central store proves to be a great help to the hostellers who can purchase necessary goods without leaving the campus premises.

The conference hall of NIT Puducherry is furnished with state-of-the-art infrastructure and is used to conduct and organize various academic and cultural functions.
