A crafter certificate is awarded to apprentices who complete the term of their training contract (the employer agrees that you have successfully completed your on the job training) but have not been awarded the appropriate qualification by their registered training organisation.

In YMCA

• Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of JEE Main followed by HSTES Counseling.
• For remaining UG courses, candidates are selected on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

If you have fulfilled the criteria for admission as well as crossed the minimum cutoff rank barrier you can visit this link to check the documents needed for counselling http://www.ymcaust.ac.in/images/admission2017/list_of_documents_btech_2017.pdf . There is no mention of a crafter certificate in the needed documents. If you have dropped a year you can get an affidavit from any court of law stating why you had dropped a year. All the best.

As per your rank in JEE mains you can surely take admission in YMCA Faridabad wi civil engineering branch.

Civil engineering is a good branch having maximum number of government jobs. But the only problem is that it has least number of placement. 

If you are interested in it then nothing matters . You go for it.

Well since you are from Uttar Pradesh let me tell you there is good amount of Quota of Haryana State students in YMCA Faridabad. You being an outside state student according to your rank you might not be able to make through counselling at least you won't end up with branches like Civil, Computer Science or even Chemical. I am assuming you are a General category student since you haven't mentioned about your category. But according to my knowledge there is management quota seats in YMCA if you want to consider that as an option.

If you consider last year cutoffs then you can get these branches in YMCA faridabad including Electrical:

1. Civil

2. Mechanical

If you want ECE or CSE then you can get MDU - Maharshi Dayanand University.

You can also get CSE in Ch. Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering and Technology
