There is not only one but two branches which get equally good amounts of placements and those branches are computer science and information technology . The placements for these branches are approximately 95% . And rest 5% includes those students who themselves don't want to be placed. So the situation here , is like that if you want to get placed , you will get placed.

Companies like HCL , INFOSYS , COGNIZANT etc come here for recruitments. 

So , i have mentioned the branches best in placements but if you are going to choose these branches for you just because they are good in placements . Then in that case , i would warn you to choose the branch according to  your interest not according to your placements. Because your interest in subject is all that matters!

For AIO category the closing rank for cse was 16208.  For HOGC category the closing rank was 35138.
