Separate hostel facilities are available for about 570 boys. The boys’ hostel is located on the campus premises and all blocks are located on the north end of the campus. The boys’ hostel runs a mess. The boys' hostel also has a 24-hour RO system for drinking water, electricity with battery backup, hot water (geyser), a separate TV room, reading hall (newspaper), Wi-Fi internet access, and a parking area for two-wheelers.

JSS Science and Technology University has two girls hostels, one in the south end of campus for around 380 girls and the other in the north end of campus for about 200 students. The other is in Hootagalli (3 km from the university), where byron students are accommodated and the university also provides bus services. The girls’ hostel runs a mess on a dividing system basis. JSS Science and Technology University girls hostel has several facilities like free Wi-Fi, TV room, reading room, R.O drinking water-1000 L/Hr, 24X7 electricity and hot water facility.

JSS Science and Technology University facilities and infrastructure include a medical shop. The medical shop that sells health care products and medicine is located in the university shopping centre. Medicines and healthcare products can be purchased at a drug store by students and faculty members. Other commonly used household items are also available in drug stores. The Health Center was established to promote the physical, mental, and social well-being of the university's faculty and students. The students and faculty members have access to free general and preventative health care through the Health Centre. Services of medical practitioners are available to the students throughout the day and evening. All students are covered under an accidental insurance scheme.

The university has a well-maintained gymnasium for the students on the campus premises. Various modern gym equipment is available in the gymnasium.

JSS Science and Technology University facilities and infrastructure include a library. JSS Science and Technology University library has a collection of over 1,31,000 volumes of textbooks, reference books, directories, yearbooks, biographical sources, humanities, abstracts, literature and management. The library includes a large collection of the thesis, dissertations, encyclopedias, and general books, as well as Kannada and English novels. IAS corner has a collection of books and CD/DVDs to help students prepare for computation tests like IAS, IPS, GATE, TOFEL, GRE, and other national and international level exams. The library also has subscriptions to 165 technical journals, 30 general magazines, and full-text e-journals such as IEEE-IEL Online, Elsevier (Science Direct), ASCE, ASME, Springer, Taylor & Francis, ProQuest, Knimbus Digital Library, DELNET membership, Remote Access Solution with over 5754 journals, and the NPTEL lecture series to access video lectures. JSS Science and Technology University library has a digital library with 35 systems for accessing e-journals, e-books, and CD/DVDs. All in-house activities at the library are entirely computerised and provide web-based access to the library's online catalogue using libsoft software.

There are various library services available on the campus such as book circulation service, reference service/referral service, journals and general magazine section, newspaper section, web OPAC/bibliographic service, online access to e-resources, digital library services, interlibrary loan/document delivery service (through DELNET), reprographic services, SC and ST book bank scheme and Knimbus e-library service.

Equal opportunities in sports have also been offered by JSS Science and Technology University. Students have succeeded not just in academics, but also in sports. JSS Science and Technology University has provided the necessary infrastructure to the Sports and Physical Education Department. The total 49461 Sq.mtr sprawling campus has various facilities such as table tennis hall, room for chess, football/cricket ground, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, throwball court, kho kho court, kabaddi court, tennis court and a fitness centre.

JSS Science and Technology University has a well-equipped IT infrastructure for the students on the campus premises. Branch wise Computer-Aided Design (CAD) laboratories are there in the university. 24x7 internet facilities with dedicated servers housing to provide better computation distribution.
