The campus is wide and big. The infrastructure of this university is very much exaggerated. There are departments with many facilities in the building. Highly furnished classrooms and modernised systems used for academics.

Academics

Highly efficient university in terms of academics. It has many IIT graduate and doctorate teachers. Many teachers are doctorate from lpu only. There is a proper feedback system to gradually improve the quality of studies for students. Staff is very supportive.

Placements

Placements are not as good as they seem. Placements rate is average. In tech departments, it is above average and in sciences and other departments, it is not so good. Big companies come here but the hire rate is low by them; they hire only a few students.

Value for Money

It might take some time for students to earn back the invested money because of not so good in campus placements. Fees is reduced but the hostel and mess charges are high. In campus shops sells everything for higher prices than outside the campus.

Campus Life

Little noisy environment sometimes due to very high density of students studying here. Yes there are many good things to do such as playing games, participating in events and contests. Many workshops also keep on happening now and then.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is very good and shining. It stands as a union of multiple tall buildings with vibrant look. LPU has many facilities here such as e-rickshaws, parking space, labs, well furnished classrooms, libraries, etc. It is considered to be a good institute with multiple facilities.

Academics

All the departments are good at academics. Some departments such as CSE and business have high number of students due to which it becomes a bit hectic at academics sometimes. Sometimes, the classes are taken at online platforms also. There are no classes on Saturday and Sunday.

Placements

Placements in LPU are not so good as they are adverstised. Most of the big placements advertised are out campus, not in campus. Though the college supports students in getting placed but the placements provided by university are not highly valuable. In some departments, it is good and in some it is very poor.

Value for Money

Value for money because it provides scholarship to literally all the students. Students just need to give LPUNEST test in online mode which is very easy and on scoring high marks, a student can get upto 50% scholarship. It might take some time to get the invested money back because of lower value placements but if a student is good enough then he/she can grab better placements from the campus only.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. Here boys are allowed till late night outside the hostel but girls are allowed up unit 8'o clock only. After 8 pm, no boy students are allowed in near range of girls' hostels. Students can eat at open food shops and canteens. Mess is good and a regular check on the quality of mess food is done.

College Infrastructure

The college campus is so big that even after living here for nearly 2 years, I haven't been able to explore more than half the campus. It has a multiple sports grounds, food eating places, auditoriums, etc. All the places are clean and a hygienic environment is maintained everywhere.

Academics

Aerospace engineering department in LPU provides very good academic facilities. The approach of teachers is theoretical and then practical after learning the basics. Many a times, the department organizes workshops such as drone making and aerial vehicle designing.

Placements

Placements are not good in Aerospace department. Highest package is not properly known but it is said to be 12 lacs by the seniors. The average package is also not so good with a value of 3-4 LPA. IT companies also hire from the aerospace department.

Value for Money

LPU is one of those private institutes which provides good scholarship. It is a good choice for the students who want the overall growth. Security is also good here. Even after Punjab being the hub of drug culture, there is no such thing taking place inside the campus and hence this university is completely safe.

Campus Life

Campus life is nice with every leisure activity being available here. There is a university gym and an outsider's gym inside the campus . Hostels organizes multiple events where one can participate and showcase his/her skills. Welfare department also organizes many events.

College Infrastructure

This college is very big in size and it is one of the largest universities in North India. The buildings are designed in modernised way. There is a 24×7 open hospital and chemist shop inside the campus. The campus is very beautiful and green.

Academics

Teachers are good and highly qualified. Some have worked in PSUs like HAL,NAL,DRDO, etc. Teachers have good connections with industrial experts which helps students in getting hired by the top industries. Well planned study structure is designed.

Placements

Placements are very good in the university. For mechanical department, a student has been placed for a package of 54 lacs recently. In the final year, students go through PEP classes where professors guide the students to grab top placements.

Value for Money

Value for money because of low fees. My fees is 72k per semester and 4k rupees per semester exams. Overall cost of tuition fees and exams fees in a year is nearly 1.5 lacs a year. Hostel fees and mess fees are other charges to be paid if one opts to live inside the campus.

Campus Life

Campus is huge. It has a wide range of sports activities and other events taking place. Non veg food is not allowed in the campus but there is a shop at one corner of the university where students go and eat Non veg without applying for hostel leave.

College has a good infrastructure. It is modernised, clean and regularly furnished. It is a very big private university. There are WHSmith shops inside, bakeries, food shops, and much more. Hostels are very big. Nearly 8 hostels, each for boys and girls.

Academics

Academics is good in this university. Teachers helps students to make something new and university helps to get it patented. LPU shines in physical education department as the students of LPU have represented India on international level in many sports.

Placements

Rate of placement for physical education department is good with 70% students getting placed every year. Most of the students though, look for representing India. LPU completely supports Physical education department in every aspect and advertise about it the most.

Value for Money

LPU is value for money because it provides a good future scope to the students of all the departments. It has good placement rate and packages are also good for all departments. They also provide 100% scholarship to the students who have played at national level in any games.

Campus Life

There are many benefits of living inside the campus of LPU. It has a capacity of accomodating nearly 28k students in hostels only. Sports fields are very big and green. There is a sport complex where chess, martial art, squash, badminton, handball and basketball are played. There are two swimming pools also beside the sports complex.

College Infrastructure

LPU provides one of the best infrastructural facilities to its students. It is very big in area. In 6 months of being here, I have not been able to explore half the campus till now. It has many facilities such as labs, libraries, skating area, sports complex, etc.

Academics

Academics in all the departments are said to be good. In Horticulture department, the studies are good and well versed with modern day curriculum. Here some professors are experienced and some have less experience. Here at LPU, many a times, the students who do the PhD from here, they join LPU as professors only.

Placements

Placement for horticulture department are not good enough. For other departments, especially the technical ones, the placements are good but sciences departments, the placements are required to be improved.

Value for Money

Overall fees for 2 years of PG degree here is nearly 4.8 lacs without any scholarship. But after scholarship, it comes down to be very affordable. The hostel charges are a bit high with 75k for a four seater room and mess fees is 40k a year. LPU only provides scholarship on tuition fees but the hostel and other fees remain same.

Campus Life

Campus life of the college is good. Sometimes it gets a bit messy due to the population density of the students here. There are canteens which are open till late night. Mess food is nice. There are laundry facilities in the hostel. Barber shops are also inside the university campus. Campus life here is easy compared to other colleges as nearly all the facilities are provided inside the campus and students no need to roam anywhere else.

It is a good university, better for pursuing Bachelor's degree.

The infrastructure of LPU is undoubtedly one of its biggest strengths. It attracts thousands of students from different parts of the country. The campus is located on the national highway. It has many buildings and food shops. It is widely spread in 600 acres of land.

Academics

Academically, LPU provides a good study culture. More than 50% students studying here are from South India which itself is a proof of LPU's strong academic base. It is also NAAC A++ accredited in 2023 which places it one level above other private universities.

Placements

LPU has good placement structure in CSE department. With more than 5000 students graduating every year from CSE department, it has a good rate of placements. Companies such as Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, etc. come here every year for recruitment.

Value for Money

This university is value for money because it helps a student to build a good character. Its fees is not a lot. One can afford the fees easily and if someone isn't able to afford the fees then it also provides loans to the students.

Campus life of LPU is very good because one can learn multiple things from here. One can eat foods at night also because the hostel canteens are open till 2 AM. Part time work opportunities are also there for students with which they can earn money for monthly expenses.

lpu is famous for their lust green and big campus size . our college has all the facilities all available its like small city inside the campus gym, mall ,food court, playgrounds, two big size indoor auditorium and one open auditorium for fest and events . colleges has 8 boys hostels and 6 girls hostel all the basic and modern facilities is available in hostels. fully campus is wifi and all the places are properly cleaned and hygienic.

according to me academics are just good just like other private colleges teachers are also decent . curriculum is also up to date and according to guidelines. lots of professional courses are in curriculum thats are helpful for getting a jobs . study at lpu makes us job ready

placement is decent in a college if students work hard on enhancing their skills and able to maintain good cgpa then their is lot of opportunity is available for them . average placement for bca is around 4lpa that is nice as per industry standard . some students also get placement more than 8 lpa in my branch also . college placement process is pleasant and our college is very supportive in placement and academic activities.

my course fee is 40000 per semester . actual course fee is 80000 per semester i got a scholarship through lpu own entrance test called lpunest and i scored good in that so got a scholarship of 50 %. for my college is vale for money and its worth it .

for me its a best campus like i am getting . lpu has everything for students engagement like club society student organisation and specially a separate block for extra curricular activities call division of student affair that block is awesome where we can get all the extra activities related to every field . students and teacher behaviour is decent and support staff is also behave in proper manner . all the basic health support re available in the college .

After doing the graduation in Mechanical engineering, I took admission in Aerospace engineering in LPU which I think was a good decision of mine. LPU is an excellent university in terms of academics as well as other fields. The curriculum is modern and well versed. It has quality teachers who are always helpful and guide the students.

Placements

Placements of this university is good. There are tens of courses that are taught here which attracts many companies every year. In Aerospace department, most of the students aim for even higher studies and hence less companies come for Aerospace department.

Value for Money

LPU is value for money because of the facilities it provides at such a low fee structure. It stands as of those university which does what it promises. There is a hospital inside for emergencies, good cleaning , multicultural foods, etc. The fees is less if compared to other universities.

College Infrastructure

LPU is very good if it comes to the infrastructural point of view. The campus of the university is between two major cities of Punjab, Jalandhar and Phagwara. Its infrastructure is huge and spread across 600 acres of raw land. It has an Olympic size swimming pool, labs, 12 badminton courts, a mall, a mental wellness block, many parks and multiple other things. It has all the facilities that one can find in a private college. As like the name 'Lovely', its campus also lovely.

Academics

In academics, LPU does very good. It offers more tens of courses which I don't think any other private university does. It has finest faculties and some of them are ranked in top 2% researchers in the world ranking by Stanford university. All the departments have modern day labs, projectors etc.

Placements

Placements if we talk about LPU as a whole then it does quite well in placements but in food technology department, it lags a bit behind. Most of the LPU's placements advertised are from CSE department which increase overall rate of placements for LPU. Average package is also higher for CSE compared to other branches.

Value for Money

Value for money because it enhances the overall capabilities of students. It takes the players in national level sports, public speaking, dance, singing and other competitions. Mess food is nice which is not always nice in any other university. There is cleanliness, greenery, and much more. Its fees is not much. Highest fees is nearly 11 lakhs which comes in down after the scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is nice here. One can do a lot of things being inside the university. If someone wants to go out of the university, then hostel leave has to be applied which has to be approved by warden and the information about the student going out of the university goes to parents mobile as text. There is some strictness regarding hostel timings for girls, 7pm in winter and 8pm in summer. There are many advantages living inside the campus because of the facilities such as laundary, geysers, water coolers, AC rooms etc. provided by the hostels.
