LPU Jalandhar Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

My college is certainly one of the fewest private colleges in India which has enthralling infrastructure. It is equipped with all the required facilities and equipment. Classrooms are spacious, laboratories are well equipped and having proper sport infrastructure alongwith a big playground. College authority is very strict on hygiene issue of foods provided to students.

Will start management study here. As per graduation, my college should be appreciated for the providing quality education. Yes, college authority do check the updation of curriculum and they provide best out of that. LPU received the award of best college to make students enable to get jobs. They prepare the future leaders among students.

Placement for engineering and management are quite impressive. Other fields also have appreciable placements. All the deserving candidates got qualified and get the campus placements. Average salary differs on the basis of fields. But as I have heard its appreciable.

As a hotel management, we seeks to have some professional approach in our work and what we expect a good infrastructure to work in, starting from the laboratory to our hostels, the infrastructure is well maintained and what a students need when he/she is away from the home is a hygienic food, you can get ample variety of food in the campus through different food courts if you don’t like to eat mess food whole week. In my opinion I’m very lucky to be a part of LPU university.

I’m studying hotel management, because I’m following my passion towards cooking and exploring new places. I researched a lot before getting the admission about academics, industry standards and found LPU have all the things that a hotel management student needs. In terms of curriculum, what i studied is upto the standards followed in the industry, that’s not only makes you a professional but also help you in getting aboard with a good hotel brand.

This is a point where all of you’re interested, in terms of placement LPU gives you a ample number of opportunity through it’s collaboration with different hotels brands in India as well as in many countries. Almost each and every student is placed in a very reputed brands with handsome salary. The average package depends where you’re working in india or Outside india, the process for the placement is like

The course cost me around Rs. 75000 per semester but wait there is something for you all, that is scholarships. The university provides scholarships to each and every student, the best part is you can get it through your 12th grades or give a national level entrance exam that help me to grab 20% scholarship which some what reduces my fees burden and also the fees you will invest in your studies is definitely going to come back through your placement

The best part that I’m missing right now is the huge university campus with student from more than 75+ countries with different culture. There is separate department for the student to engage in different activities, that help them to gain new experience. The university have more security cameras that IGI airport, Delhi that makes the LPU campus the safest for the students. The university provides you a separate mentor have a separate department for the support that is Block 29,30 .

The Lovely professional university have all the things a student needs in terms of academics, placement, different campus activities and many more things. So i would recommend it to each and every student.

My College Lovely Professional University has all the facilities that are all required for a student. Vast exposure to the world and fascinating culture related to co-curriculum activities and many more. There are so many clubs and organisation that offers a lot of opportunity to showcase your hidden talent and will get some learning in your perfer field. Clubs and organisations also worked as Non Governmental Organisation for poor children and families

If I will talk about academics then I think words are less for describing Lovely Professional University's academics. The academics department is very friendly to students. Faculty members are too cooperative and helpful towards students and their carrier. Even per student, one faculty is assigned for the whole graduation time for any kind of help and to be focused on the academics area. So, this is how LPU treats students in the academic department.

Talking about Placements is a bit interesting at Lovely Professional University. 100% placements are available in LPU in each and every department and they offer internships in the 6th or 7th semester. Even they offer a lot of courses which may students help in the time of placements. Some of the tie-ups are there like Upgrad, Coursera, and many more. So, learn as much as you can and crack the placements in the nig companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and many more.

Investing money in graduation at Lovely Professional University is really worth it. The facilities they provide in the duration of your graduation is really helpful for each and every kind of student even if a student has to upgrade their skills in any field they can approach the clubs and organization and can improve their skills in that particular field. In university even there is a lot of hackathons going on every time, students and take part do competitive coding as well.

Campus life in Lovely Professional University is very busy. But being busy and having all those memorable times with friends is a bit interesting and amazing from school life. The campus is like a dream city, it's too big, and having innovative infrastructure is amazing from any other university in India. It's great and memorable to visit once LPU campus.

University has a vast campus, with all sort of facilities. Classes and laboratory are equipped with the latest technologies equipment. Proper security allotment in every single entrance gates. The laboratory has its assistant worker to guide every student. For each subject, they have professional professors. Each department has its parking lots and with separate parking area for girls. Within the campus, they have a hostel, canteen facility with wifi, both for girls and boys.

I am a student of the mechanical branch, from the beginning of the school days I have interest regarding machines. So I opted for this branch after the 12th. University has the same curriculum same as AICTE provide. Professors are well trained and provide individual service to students and help them evolve with society. Other than regular classes they have training sessions for placement purpose and classes for government exams like UPSC and others with their independent libraries.

There are plenty of companies that came to hunt the best employee for their job. But still, there is a long way to go as far as now there are not many big companies that are available for campus round. Other than these placement criteria salary package is good enough for students. Salary package mostly started from 6.5 lakh-20 lakh. University provides well planned and control placement rounds. So that students don't get panic, also they have trainee session every year 3 month before placements.

The course cost for me for BTech mechanical is around 1.5lakh per an um. The course cost here costs plenty high for me. As middle-class people, it seems a little difficult to pay. But after all, it's all worth it after getting a good placement and knowledge and guidance.

The campus is big enough with all sort of advanced facilities and full of nature. The campus has gymkhana, sports grounds, canteens (for hostels and college), enough parking lot, and more important each department and hostel has its medical emergency room and professors to deal with medical emergencies. Other than campus area and equipment the students, teachers and other helping staffs are very polite and helpful. Which benefit's personality building also.

As from mechanical branch, I must say university provide and help to gain good quality and advanced knowledge from the basic. With campus surrounding and help from professors and other staff, I have been graced with decent nature and personality.

Infrastructure is amazing. LPU is like a mini-state in itself. It has malls, and many food courts are available near every block. There is a food factory and gardens to enjoy. It has a lush green campus. It also has its own hospital, which is open 24*7. You can also enjoy a lot of sports here. Classrooms are fully furnished and equipped. In hostels we have 24*7 Wi-Fi facility and no electricity disturbances and we have purified drinking water. All the leaving places are clean and food is hygiene

I have not come across many students in my years at the university who doesn’t like the campus life here at LPU. Having a mixture of national and international students, campus life is really exciting here at LPU. I visit the mall with the students in my class almost every day. We also have a day fixed in a week wherein we go and try out the different cuisines offered in the food stalls

Best part of LPU. If I need to give credit to some thing for my personality I build I will for the student organization cell añd my student organization Otaku where I was part of it for two years of my university time. They help you meet new people, make you better person, diversify your thinking and a lot more. So it's best on this.

I am Year 3 Student in Bsc. Agriculture Hons. LPU is the first private university to get ICAR accreditation. The Curriculum and the syllabus is updated by ICAR. The School of Agriculture has best faculty with PHDs and years of experience . The faculty are well versed in their respective fields. Agriculture has a broad scope and get branched into Agronomy, Horticulture, Pathology, Extension, Biotech, Forestry, Meteorlogy, etc which gives a wide spectrum for the students to choose their career in.

The University provides great Placements. The percentage of students that are placed is usually less. It entirely depends on one's own calibre. Highest Salary Packages are offered in CSE. The average salary offered is around 3.5 LPA.

The Cost per year for Bsc. (Hons.) Agriculture Course 2019-2020 batch is 1 lakh 80 thousand rupees. The fee is generally higher than the average. The University provides scholarships to help ease the high rate of fee. Agriculture Course involves Practicals that are performed on fields. Due to Covid Conditions, the practicals Studies are difficult.

The University Campus has colorful life. There are never ending Events. It is a huge university that provides various courses and each school and clubs organize their events and activities. Educational Seminars, Workshops, Extracurricular Activities are organized on regular basis. The University has great diversity with faculty and students from all 29 states of the country and 75 different countries.

I have been on college campus for one and half semester as lockdown was implemented. My life in the university in that short time has been good. I have friends from different cultures and states. The teachers are excellent. In Short, it has been a calm yet chaotic place.

My college is it best among all the college in Phagwara. You can't compare the infrastructure of my college with other nearby college. Not only that, if anyone is interested in acting and wants to audition, is given number of chances to audition in singing, dancing, or any kinds of talents. It also organizes Miss United Nations. Not only in the entertainment field, but business students get to interact with CEOs of top organizations as well.

This college has good number of placement drive. I am feeling lucky to have this college. Since the placements, On the job training and Internships keep on happening throughout the year, the exhaustive feedback is taken from the employers about the functional skill sets of our students in practical environment. The further curriculum is then upgraded as the the industry requirements after every semester.

The campus is full of students and faculty from all states of India as well as from 72 different countries. This diversity enables the civic sensibilities and unique team work capabilities among both students and teachers. This trait is required world over by almost all organisations. and this is apart from vast exposure of cross cultural working benefits.

With over 1.5 lac students already graduating from LPU in all the courses put together, there are chapters of LPU alumini all over the world in more than 100 countries. These provide a large resource pool for further placements, tie ups etc.

BEST COLLEGE IN TERM OF INFRASTRUCTURE PLACEMENT LIFE AND ALL

Our college is so tech savvy, starting from our daily class attendance to time table, everything is online. Even if I Have to exit my hostel or enter my Mess, i have to use finger print scanners and pass RFID (Radio Frequency Identity) turnstile gates. We dont carry cash, our ID card is like 2-in-1 debit card for transactions inside the university. We have 24x7 WiFi facilities for unlimited surfing, and a strict student monitoring system which gives monthly updates to parents about student.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) has emerged as a leader in the field of education. It is a distinctive institution that is not less than an IIT in terms of teaching, learning, research, entrepreneurship, and leadership. In addition to imparting knowledge & critical thinking, the university enables its students to become architects of the future society. Not just engineering, the university is also known for programs like MBA, Business Management, Design, Hotel Management, Law, Pharmacy.

Almost 98% of students who have above 6CGPA in engineering get placed in any reputed company. On an average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 3.33LPA to 30LPA based on the students' skills So in a whole, LPU is a good college for student opting for Bachelors program, with a few restrictions which can be traded for the benefits and exposure you get out of it.

LPU is a college that will provide you with a good infrastructure and a great environment for skill development. The faculty members are very good but still there do exist a large group of illiterate educated people. The important stuff is you will need to remember is that you are not on a vacation, you might forget that in your first year. Attendance requirement is 75% per semester and you’ll survive the hostel food. Hostel rooms are in perfect condition with biometric turnstile gates throughou

Being an LPU alumni I would like to say you that for first-year students it is not compulsory to take the hostel facilities. But on the other hand, taking hostel is your benefit. Their hostels are the most secure buildings ever. They have the largest hostel on their campus. And fully equipped with wifi and other amenities. They do have power backups. Unlikes pgs and in first-year students don’t know much about the places to stay so better.

Lpu is good for those who want to proof themselve and want to get good placement

The college has an amazing infrastructure must say !! The college has its own mall, activity centres and hubs, clubs and many more !! The hostel + classrooms are all well maintained and all are fully wifi enabled. The college has one main library and many sub- libraries in each block. The living spaces are well maintained and are cleaned once or twice every week. The mess and food services are actually very good, better than any other colleges that I have seen.

The quality of teaching is good, it's upto the mark. But, the thing is when you get to a college you don't expect teachers to spoon feed you, and if that's your view of learning (spoon feeding), then you may not like the teaching here, but many teacher's and professors try to do that, so that everyone can understand it. The faculty, staffs and teachers are all good here, infact many of them here are the alumni of many IITs and nits here.

The placements are quite fine and also are on a average level as well. Some of the students from btech CSE and it were able to get a package of 40lakhs last year, but it was totally based on their skills and hardwork, but yes the college and the faculty some how helped and guided them to land a job like that. The average package for cse/it here is 4-8 lakhs and for mechanical here is 3-6 lakhs. Almost all the students who applied for the placements last year were placed.

The college gives a very good option to you, i.e, scholarship, you can get upto 50% off on any course you choose (if applicable)-(do checkout their website for details), also the scholarship is decided by your performance in LPUNEST, jee mains, boards, etc. I feel my moneys worth it, even though in india private colleges are not given any value but, trust me private colleges are not that bad, the thing is, it depends on you what you do and how you do.

The college campus is amazing, you have malls with all facilities ( like Domino's, etc ), activity clubs ( what ever club you want is here ), many events are organised here that too on a monthly or yearly basis, concerts and many more !! The students are from various parts of India and also from international countries as well ( like Yemen, nepal, America, Africa, etc ). The security and all is very good over here.

In short, my overall experience of 1.5 years at college was amazing ( rest 2.5 years I was and currently I'm at my home town because of covid ). I enjoyed alot at the college. The thing is when you grow up, you gotta change the way you were before and college and people teaches you that. So, don't only use your college life in gaining grades, but try it to built network. The college has an entrepreneurship cell, and I'm an in making entrepreneur as well, Utkarsh Malhotra - remember the name :)
