Hello student,
In 2018, Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College and Hospital, Solan [MMU] had its cutoff as 285 for general category students under the management quota list.
The cutoff may vary this year, a bit higher or a bit lower. But the range will probably be the same 280-300. Hence, you stand a fair chance to get into this college with 340 marks in NEET.
Cheers!
Dear Swati,
321 marks are good if you want to enter in MMU, Solan. Yes, there are chances of getting a MMU if you have a State domicile. You can apply through Centralised State counselling , don't apply individually at first place. As MMU is not government , it has many seats reserved for management quota. The ratio between State and Management seats is 25:75. So , apply through state quota at first place.
If you don't get a seat through state quota, then management quota is there , you will get a seat in that for sure since it constitutes 75% of the seats.
Hope for the best!

Dear Abdul,
Yes, you will be glad to know that Maharishi Markandeshwar University Ambala comes under MCI and the counseling for the MBBS, BDS, and PG courses is done by All India counseling of NEET UG and PG as well.
I hope this will solve your query.
Good luck
Dear Sir, the 85% seats given to the states for the medical colleges of their own have their own sets of rule for admission. However, there is no such provision for seats under defence quota in Himachal Pradesh according to our knowledge. The cut-off for MMU Solan is however the same as that for All India, but having a score above 500 is comparatively safer.

Infrastructure of this college maharshi markandeswar univeraity is good but they would not able to maintain the campus beuty otherwise everything is good.the campus is huge large with proper cricket and football ground.
Yes the college has all the facilities and it was really good and the campus has the new building the course was really interactive the professors were also really interactive with high qualification from renowned universities.
MMDU provides a decent infrastructure, food places within and outside the college are in a decent number . Classes are equipped with smart boards ( not all ) . The infrastructure is okay but not too good requires much improvement
