Hi Kunal ,

Basically you have mentioned four colleges :-

  1. Malaviya National Institute Of Technology ,Bhopal
  2. Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology , Shibpur
  3. National Institute of Technology ,Raipur
  4. National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur

If I go by NIRF ranking 2020 for architecture then IIEST is best as it secure rank 6th in the country. NIT Hamirpur secure 19th position . MNIT is also good but of Rajasthan not of Bhopal .

Other than these three colleges , rest of all not worth for your money and time.

For B.Arch you need a good exposure so choose wisely an ACTIVE college .

I hope this helps you.

Hey friend!

Hoping that you are doing fine in the global pandemic . If we talk about MNIT Jaipur then it is one of the top level Nit's in india . If we are branch specific then ECE is one of the core branches like CSE ,IT . Students in ECE also can sit in the placement exams of cse and it branch . Also there is lot of scope of ece branch in government institutions and PSU'S . So don't get worry .

For information about which branch and college you can get on the basis of your rank, quota and home state. Kindly use the link given below

All the best friend !

Hello,

The choice between two colleges or deciding between two course should be a decision completely taken by you, since you should pursue the course in which you have the utmost interest and from an institute which suits you best. I'll state out the reasons for some but the choice has to be yours.

Eventhough IITs are a better institution than NITs, the choice between civil and CSE is the main factor here. Although civil Eng is a reputated department but these days the placement structures are not that good. Although, on the other hand CSE is in very high demand and pursuing it from NIT means that you might get a really good placement as well. Mostly from every college, CSE students always get in the highest package and are the most placed. NIT Warangal on the other hand is better than NIT Jaipur. NITs are no less than IITs and also really hold brand value and the placement stats are excellent as well.

If you're more interested in pursuing Civil then you should, IITs have alot of core companies visiting, so the chances of being placed are good too. So the decision now is completely to you.

Hope this helps

Hi aspirant,

Both MNIT Jaipur and NIT Warangal both are outstanding colleges with NIT Warangal being a bit better than MNIT Jaipur. You are getting CSE in both. So based on branch you can choose any of them. These two are having almost opportunities and record. However, if you want to stay in your home state which many aspirant think better, then you should choose MNIT Jaipur. Otherwise you can select NIT Warangal since it is a bit better than MNIT in terms of ranking, opportunities and track record.

Hope it helps you.

I think you should choose MNIT CSE. I dont think Ocean Engineering is a branch of your choice and secondly Branch Change Scheme is very unpredictable and unprobable especially this year.

IITM has already decided to temporarily close the Branch Slide scheme this year.MNIT CSE will provide you with good opportunities and prsopects. Located near IT Hubs at Delhi NCR, itself provides a sea of opportunities. Companies like Mircosoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs and Honeywell are regular recruiters at MNIT CSE.

Another option you can consider is taking considerable branches at the next 7 IITs ( Rank 8-14).

I believe you have the following options

Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering IIT BHU

Mechanical/Chemical IIT Ropar Mandi BBSR

Chemical IIT Gandhinagar IIT Patna IIT ISM

Electrical IIT Dharwad Bhilai Palakkad Jodhpur

Metallurgical Engineering IIT Indore Hyderabad

The above options are fair and provide standard placements and plenty of opportunities being IITs.

I think CSE at NIT Jalandhar is a better option than ECE at MNIT Jaipur. Of course, if MNIT Jaipur is at vicinity of your home, you can prefer it.

Jalandhar located near IT Hubs at Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Noida itself provides a sea of opportunities.Companies like Microsoft, Goldmann Sachs, PwC and Sapient are regular recruiters at NIT Jalandhar.

Hi Aspirant,

Malaviya National Institute of Technology - Metallurgy branch of MNIT is better then when compared to other colleges because there is MRC (Materials Research Center) and Costly Machinery is there to doing researches related to Metallurgy.

In Metallurgical engineering many good placements records are there.

Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat NIRF Ranking and other statistics also good as these institutions are of national importance go with your own will and passion as good you in your subject you will secure better placement as Chemical Faculties in SVNIT also well.

Hey aspirant,

I wouldn't be able to suggest you with which branch you should go for. As,this is a really important decision amongst the students. You should only go with that branch in which you feel you are more comfortable and interested. It's but obvious that you wouldn't want to waste your 4 years of life in studying something in which you are not at all interested.

Also now, talking about these three colleges on the basis of their placement statistics then the highest package offered by MNNIT allahabad is 36lpa and average is 7lpa.

for a brief knowledge of placement statistics of MNNIT please refer to the link mentioned below-

https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/mnnit-allahabad-placement-report-2018/amp

Whereas the Highest package offered by NIT TRICHY till date is 52lakhs whereas usually it ranges around 25-35lpa and average ranges around 7-8lpa.

For more details you can refer to the link mentioned below-

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.careers360.com/university/national-institute-of-technology-tiruchirappalli/amp

Now, talking about NIT warangal then the highest package offered is 43lpa and average ranges around 12lpa.

For more detailed information about placement statistics of NIT warangal please refer to the link mentioned below-

https://www.careers360.com/university/national-institute-of-technology-warangal/placement

Now, at last I would say that all these colleges are at good place in terms of placement so on the basis of your interested branch you can go for any one of these. :)

Hope it helps!

All the best!

College Infrastructure

Malaviya National Institute of Technology(MNIT) Jaipur have a lecture complex known as VLTC where all classes are held. It have separate hostels for both boys and girls. It have well equipped labs and various research facilities. Various sports tournament and cultural programs are organized to enhance the capability of students.

Full of twists and turns

College Infrastructure

The college itself is not that old compared to other government colleges and the infra is alright but there is no architectural beauty in the buildings they are just bland. Although everything is well maintained, it does not have anything special about it
