NMIMS Mumbai has one of the best infrastructure in India. The AC classrooms are modern with all required facilities. There is a well equipped library having sufficient books and journals. Online access to international databases is also there for the students
The college follows a trimester system. there are around 8-10 subjects in each trimester. College follows a case based teaching methodology which covers case studies from Harvard. There is a good mix of full time faculties and part time corporate lecturers
NMIMS Mumbai ranks 18th in India in terms of average placements. this year it stood at 26.63 lacs per annum. the college achieves 100% placements year on year. The highest salary offered last year was by Microsoft at 57 Lacs per annum.
The fees of NMIMS Mumbai is on the higher side as compared to colleges of the same league. Add to that the living cost of Mumbai and your 2 year MBA will become a very costly affair. Considering the amount spent, the placements should be on a higher side.
There is no Campus as such. There is an academic building which has cafeteria, classrooms and library. However, NMIMS Mumbai shares auditorium and hostels with other colleges of the SVKM group. Most of the students stay outside on their own somewhere near to the college. Campus life is lacking in NMIMS Mumbai
Do take admission in NMIMS Mumbai if you are not getting in top 6 IIMs or other top colleges like XLRI, FMS, MDI, IIFT, NITIE etc. Overall its a good college. The only drawback is the high fees and high living cost of Mumbai
The college has a good infrastructure . It has a canteen facility , different types of sports are also available . Labs are also provided for the students . And for the part time course they provide very good mentor to guide you and the good quality books fir studies and they provide the library fir the students which contains all the course books . They provide lectures , recording for the students . NMIMS provide hostel facilities for the students it has two separate hostel for boys and girls.
Im pursuing distance MBA because i have a job and for a person like me distance mba is a better option NMIMS distance learning program for mba has a very good reputation in india , the value of distance education from NMIMS is valid as the university is affiliated with UGC it provides quality education for the students the have doubt clearing sessions they also provide the recording if you missed the live lectures , and the provided all the study materials all the books are newely published.....
For me as compared to full time programs , placement figures for distance programs are on the lower side of every institute because their main aim is to provide a helpful degree for the students who is working as an employee and as compared to other institutes NMIMS distance learning placements are better and the career services . The lowest salary offered to the student who graduated in previous batch was 5.4 lakhs, ths average salary offered to the students in previous batch was 8.2lakhs......
NMIMS distance learning for MBA course cost RS 60,000 per year which is quite affordable for the students who are looking for distance courses and for me if this is the course fees then this is worth it for the students because they are also providing study materials for the students..
Aa because I pursued the distance learning course so i did not lived the campus life...
Good infrastructure with all facilities provided , being in a city like mumbai comes with great opportunity . Hostels are provided , sports events are also hosted. Food is good and living spaces are clean.
Im studying MBA in technology management , the quality of teaching is Excellent. The curriculum is well updated and taught by awesome professors, job market looks for tech and management guys its secure for sure .
Placements are great , check the college website for better understanding , expect a package around 8 to 10 lpa be good in studies. Placement training are done, college is very supportive in all the activities.
Fees is high but it comes with great opportunities. Money worth differs from student to student if you are good in academics and extracurricular you will definitely value it, college is reputed in whole Maharashtra.
Campus life is awesome , right now its closed because of covid but it is very good , 4 and 5 year are done at sbm NMIMS . Sbm has world class facilities available. Students can engage in many activities which are held in college.

In NMIMS every campus has the same infrastructure, so it ensures that students in any of the campuses don't face any problem regarding the availability of essentials things which are required for the smooth functioning of this two year course. An entire floor is reserved for a library, and there are labs and discussion rooms on every floor. The entire campus is enabled with Wi-Fi facility.
Almost every faculty member in the NMIMS, Mumbai campus has the required experience, which ultimately reflects on their teaching. All of them are helpful as well, and even in the midnight, you can call them if you have any doubt. They will make sure they have cleared your doubts.
The first batch had more than decent placements with the average salary package of 12.5LPA. The second batch still has some students to get placed, which become the worst problem because of this COVID-19 situation. There were 100% internships in all the three batches.
I have chosen this course because it offers the required and exhaustive training, which is necessary for the corporate.
The quality of the food served, infrastructure, classrooms, is way above usual standards. I did not face any issues regarding the infrastructure of the college. There is an indoor game room comprising of the pool, TT tables, foosball, carrom, etc. The only issue is it has a compact building. Moreover, there isn't much of a college linked hostel facility, which was an issue initially. But gradually one gets accustomed to it.
Teachers are very helpful. A lot of importance is given to class participation, so there is a lot of peer-to-peer learning as well. Mostly, Harvard modules and cases are used for teaching which are very informative. The course curriculum is updated every year after taking feedback from students. The faculty to student ratio varies. It is 1:63 for our batch and 1:40 for our senior batch.
Almost 100% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered was up to 22 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The average salary package offered was more than 13 LPA. Roles offered were from plant HR, corporate HR, HRBP, talent supply chain, analytics, employee engagement, employer branding, etc. Everyone got internships from college. During internships, the average stipend offered was more than Rs. 60,000.
It is one of the best colleges I have seen. Though the campus is small, the facilities provided are amazing. Classrooms are designed as Harvard with digital equipment. Facility for the library is also good with Bloomberg labs which is one of the essential labs for any MBA student. The hygiene maintained in the canteen is fantastic, but you only get vegetarian food there.
Teachers in the college are very helpful regarding classroom discussions and doubt clearing sessions. They even spare time to help you with competitions. The student to faculty ratio is somewhere around 70:1 which is decent. Industry exposure is good, and there are a lot of leadership talks, seminars, and corporate projects, i.e., multiple avenues for the same. The course curriculum is also updated regularly.
Placements for both first and second year students are good. The summer internships are easier to grab, and only a few companies offer good salary packages in the final placements. The average package offered is around 12 LPA, and only 3-4 companies offer a salary package of more than 20 LPA. All the reputed companies like Goldman Sachs, Pidilite, Marico, Dabur, Asian Paints, and ITC, etc., visit the campus for placements. The placement committee functions just like in any other B-Schools.
NMIMS has great infrastructure. Companies like Pidilite conduct their induction processes annually in the NMIMS auditorium. All major MNCs conduct their regional or zonal rounds in the NMIMS campus, like Google, ITC, HUL etc. Food available in the canteen is good but a little expensive. The hostel is very expensive, but it rarely has any facilities.
Faculty members are very committed and devoted to working towards enabling an extremely competitive and learning environment. They assist students for their internships, projects and case competitions as well and are not restricted only to teaching. The course curriculum is useful. New courses are updated each year, and old courses are dropped. the student to faculty ratio is about 60:1.
Placements were good for both senior batch and our batch. At NMIMS, the summer placements are mostly high on the marketing side, wherein most FMCGs and other companies offer sales and marketing roles. For final placements, mostly IT companies visit the campus. The placement committee is active, and there is very little involvement of faculty.
During college, we get a free Wi-Fi facility in a computer lab and in the auditorium hall. We get access 24 hours when they want. In our college, classroom facilities are very advance because it has a projector, 2 air-conditioners, designing benches, etc. I am a regular student, so I do not know much about the hostel facility. But sometimes I stay with my friends in the hostel, and I feel very great in the hostel. Medical facilities are available 24 hours and 7 days.
Teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. They have good knowledge about the related field. They conduct activities on a regular basis. Their teaching quality is good. Teachers are cooperative, and if we get any doubt, we will connect with them at any time.
About 80% of the students from our course got placed. The salary package offered in our college is above average. It totally depends on students. If the performance of students is good enough, then they get the highest salary package. Top recruiting companies like Jaro, Cisco, Amazon, etc., visit our college for placements. Almost all students who are dedicated to internships got an internship. Placement and training activities are conducted on a regular basis.
The infrastructure is world-class. The second floor is dedicated to the library and the computer room. It is a state-of-the-art library with free Wi-Fi. The first floor is dedicated to the canteen. It is a well-maintained canteen with all the varieties of food available. Only veg options are available. The classrooms are made of Harvard-style classrooms. There are 10 capsule lifts which are super-fast.
There were very high dignity faculty members. Some are full-time faculty members and some are visiting faculty members who were available for the course. Professors from Centaur Pharma, HUL, Tata Steel, IBM and much more from different companies provided great insights during our course. The faculty members are very good, supportive and help us as and when required. Attendance is compulsory at 80% and any shortfall in the attendance leads to decrease in grades.
The college claims to have 100% placements which may not be true. However, It's good enough (90%+). The highest CTC was around 34 Lacs while the average is around 15 Lacs. Thers's no official record for the lowest CTC but it could be as low as 8-9 Lacs. Roles and key recruiters: FMCG: Aditya Birla, ITC, Whirlpool, Wipro Banking, Financial Services, Insurance: Aditya Birla Capital, Axis Bank, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs IT, Analytics, Consulting, Commerce: Microsoft, Amazon, EY, KPMG.
NMIMS Mumbai does not have a campus but has the best infrastructure. It has centralized A.C with projectors and highly efficients chairs in all the classrooms. It has two cafeterias which are both amazing. It takes most money for it's library and does not disappoint. The entire building is very clean.
I am studying MBA in Marketing specialization. We have veteran professionals with almost everyone having a PHD. The excellent pedagogy follows a case study based curriculum which is completely relevant to today's word.
NMIMS Mumbai has 100% placements since a lot of years. Having a connection of 25000+ alumni from 65+ years helps in having good connections in the corporate world. The college placement process is very supportive.
The fees of NMIMS Mumbai is Rs 10,42,000 per year for two years. Since I had to face complete first year online it was a little tough to say that the money was completely used. The college however did it's best to make the best out of the worst situation through online portal.
NMIMS Mumbai does not have a campus. It has one hostel with no compulsion to stay in. However it has more than 25 clubs and committees, each having their events . We also have sectional sports and cultural wars. The locations is at the heart of Mumbai and it is the safest.
