Hi
Your profile suggest that you are from Andhra Pradesh so I am assuming it to be your home state , so you will be eligible for other state for NIT calicut
With 97.93 percentile
your rank will be around 21176 - 23805 as per our rank predictor at https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Your obc rank will be around 5000.
It is quite difficult to make prediction but yes as per past year trend , you hold a low chance to get a seat in NIT calicut for Computer science engineering or ECE
For example,
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, 2372 obc rank for obc category for gender female for other other state was closing rank to get a seat in Computer science engineering in NIT calicut while for ECE it was 3313 obc closing rank.
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
But yes,
You have chances in NIT Calicut for branches like
Mechanical Engineering
Civil Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)
Chemical Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) etc
Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so
To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to, your home state, your gender etc, the link for jee main college predictor is provided below

Hi Elvin.

Hello Aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as General.
If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 600-1000,
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-
Closing CRL rank for NIT Calicut was :-
Architecture branch - 377 (Home state quota)
Architecture branch - 599 (Other state quota)
So you have some chances to get NIT Calicut with Architecture branch.
But yes if you improve your percentile in any further session of JEE-Main like around 98+ then you will definitely improve your chances of NIT Calicut.

Hey aspirant,
You should choose only that branch in which you feel you are comfortable with. Because of course you won't want to waste your four years of life in studying something in which you are not interested.
Also, the colleges are preferred on the basis of one's priorities.
However if we see the placement statistics of both the colleges then highest package offered by svnit is 39 lpa and average is around 4-6lpa.whereas in Nit calicut the highest package offered is 50 lpa and average ranges around 7-10lpa.
So, on the basis of placement statistics I would suggest you to go for Nit calicut but as I mentioned above the choice should be totally yours.
Hope it helps
Good luck.
