Hi
This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat as cut off keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then ,
In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , the obc category closing rank for gender neutral for nit calicut provided below for homestate :-
Computer science :- 3482 obc category rank
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
And to get 3482 obc rank, you need at least around 140 marks .For rank vs marks vs percentile you can refer to our page for which link is provided below:-
Or you can use rank predictor for the same at

Good Luck
Being from Other State Category, secondly having OBC Advantage, you will must target atleast 7.5k OBC Rank to secure Civil at NIT Calicut. For OBC Rank, 7.5k, you need a CRL of around 30-35k. For this range you must target anywhere between 96.8-97.2 Percentile in JEE Main or 130-140/300 as Score Target.
Dear aspirant ,
Undoubtedly nit Calicut would be the best option for you for civil engineering as the placement stats of nit calicut are far better than prayagraj for civil engineering. The average package in this branch in nit Calicut is around 6-6.5L and stats for prayagraj is not mentioned.
Hello,
NIT Calicut college was established 1961. Its very reputable college. And ofcourse it's a national institute of technology. For civil engineering course highest package is 15lpa and average package is 5lpa. Infrastructure is good and facilities are highly qualified.
Now Andra University of visakhapatnam was established 1926. Its also a good engineering college. Highest package of CSE course 16lpa and average package is 4lpa. Infrastructure is good and faculties are highly qualified but due to research they are not completed the syllabus.
According to all of these both are good college. Subject wise i think CSE is better now days than civil engineering. So choice is totally yours.
All the best .

Hope that's helpful
Best of luck
We are having good lab facilities, xerox shops, but in hostel canteen facilities are not there. There are canteens in campus, but inside hostel, canteen facility is nill.stationary, xerox facility is there , also study rooms, common room facility is good. But wifi may trouble sometimes ????
One of the largest engineering colleges in Kerala build a long time back standing out in infrastructure and a large campus. Classrooms are big enough to accommodate the large population of students, especially the first year classrooms, seminar halls and auditoriums are the finest. Regular maintainance of living spaces keeps it clean and tidy. Food is good offering us to try a very vast variety of cuisines across India all in one place.
There is not a single facility or infrastructure that I cannot find in the campus. Well equipped and well maintained. No issues with hostel food or hostel services or anything of the sort. Wifi available in almost every spot.
