In such a case if branch is not a matter of concern for you then I would suggets you to opt for telecommunications in IIT Kharagpur instead of going for VLSI in NIT Calicut as IIT Kharagpur is a really good ranked college overall and have good ratings

We are having good lab facilities,xerox shops, but in hostel canteen facilities are not there. There are canteens in campus,but inside hostel,canteen facility is nill.stationary, xerox facility is there , also study rooms, common room facility is good. But wifi may trouble sometimes ????
