Hello!
Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is one of the most popular fields/ branches that is in demand. With new jobs coming up every day, the employment rate for CSE engineers is increasing. This can be followed by specializations and IT. We'd still suggest you go after a branch of your interest as compared to demand to access your full potential.
Good luck!
Hello aspirant!
According to your rank and previous year opening and closing ranka if NIT Calcutta given in the josaa website you will not get NIT Calicut(CSE Branch) under home state quota.
You can also check in the website given below
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/OpeningClosingRankArchieveN.aspx?Year=2018
Hope it answer your concerns.
See with this rank I doubt you can get into any top 3 nit in ECE but surely in rest you can get into with this score .you can also check previous year trend and check for yourself on the following link

Hello aspirant!
According to your rank you will get all the branch in NIT CALICUT except computer science under your home state quota(HS).I am saying this on the basis of previous year opening and closing ranks given in the josaa website.
Hope it answer your concerns.
Hey Dezit Uday,
Your CRL 20126 in JEE mains is not quite well. And there is no chance for you to get admission in National Institute of Technology, Raipur.
A candidate should be atleast ranked 5000 to get admission and they to in Biomedical engineering
But you can try in other good gov. colleges
Good luck
Hello Sarang,
I am sorry to say , but with this percentile you won't get B. Arch in NIT Calicut. Here I have listed down the previous year cutoff for B. Arch in NIT Calicut for OBC-NCL category -
So it is very unlikely that you will get a seat in NIT . I have also listed the 2019 JEE Main cutoff category wise -
If you have any doubt regarding JEE cutoff you can visit this link : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff
Also, here is the link for JEE cutoff (paper 2) of previos years : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-b-arch-b-planning

HOPE YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH MY ANSWER
NIT Calicut has outstanding infrastructure that fully supports academic and personal development. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern teaching aids. The laboratories are well-maintained, advanced, and updated with the latest equipment. The central library is vast, with an excellent collection of books, journals, and digital resources. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, including in hostels, ensuring uninterrupted access to learning materials.
We are having good lab facilities, xerox shops, but in hostel canteen facilities are not there. There are canteens in campus, but inside hostel, canteen facility is nill.stationary, xerox facility is there , also study rooms, common room facility is good. But wifi may trouble sometimes ????
One of the largest engineering colleges in Kerala build a long time back standing out in infrastructure and a large campus. Classrooms are big enough to accommodate the large population of students, especially the first year classrooms, seminar halls and auditoriums are the finest. Regular maintainance of living spaces keeps it clean and tidy. Food is good offering us to try a very vast variety of cuisines across India all in one place.
