Sorry to say, but there is a feeble chance of geeting a seat in NIT, Calicut at this percentile.

NIT, Calicut is a prestigious college and you have to secure a rank within 1 Lakh for SC category student , to get a seat in that college.

Better to check out some other new NITs ,they are also very good or you can wait for your next chance in JEE Mains.

Predicting the chances of admission through gate depends on various factors like the total number of candidates appearing in gate,difficulty level of the exam etc

But you can check the cutoff of previous years to get an idea .Sometimes the trend is same.

Last year the opening score for high voltage engineering was 408 and the closing score was 345.

That means you have chances.

Yes you can. However, you may not get yout choice of branch, depending on whether you are Home State, Other State, reservation category etc.

Your score should be good enough for any branch apart from CSE, ECE and Mechanical (assuming you belong to general category). If you are from reserved category, or did your 12th in Kerala, then you may be eligibe to get into these branches also. You can refer to previous year cut-off ranks for more insights. My guess is your rank will be around 10k region, but you can never be sure.

The last year cut off for B.Arch course at NIT Calicut was as follows:-

• For home state candidates:- General:- 663 to 1141,  OBC-NCL:- 244 to 393,  SC:- 127 to 577,  ST:- 229 to 229.
• For other state candidates:- General:- 44 to 1323,  OBC-NCL:-233 to 506,  SC:- 70 to 145,  ST:- 46 to 84.

First of all congratulations for having such a good result in your JEE MAINS Examination. However, Engineering physics is not a branch but a subjet that every first year student of any engineering college has to study . SO you will definetly have this subject if you pursue engineering.

It would be difficult to tell you the exact about the qualify marks & admission possibilities as JEE Main is being conducted twice by NTA for the first time. As per your JEE Main April score 102, Your probable percentile will be 94.2 to 96.2 and your probable rank will be 51,623 - 59,123.

Last year cutoff in NIT CALICUT was 2k in obc.So you have a chance to get CSE branch in NIT CALICUT.
