As per the last year trend You cannot get NIT calicut at this OBC Rank..

According to last year cutoff the lowest Cutoff in OBC rank was 8500 approx..your Rank is too low As compare to this..so Sorry you can't get it..For more info Please Follow the link.

74.05%ile is too low to get any of the NITs.Even if you belong to any reserved category then also you will not get.

You can apply to state engineering colleges of your home state through state counselling.You may get that.

So you must apply for state counselling.

See the marks u have scored is enough for u to bag a seat in the good college like NIT for pursuing ur higher studies in the field of ur interest but that might not be sufficient for the IITs.
