In order to get seat in NIT Jamshedpur you need to score more than 98 percentile for ST candidate.
As you are Home state candidate for counselling so you will be given preference but you should work hard to get good score also as I said above.
As your category is ST so you will also be preferred category wise.

Hello student predicting exact cut off is bit difficult as it vary every year on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination. But as per past year cutoffs you need to score less than 10,000(last year cutoff 9151) rank to get admission into NIT jamshedpur if you've jamshedpur domicile.
Application for jee main April examination starts from 07th of February and shall remain open till 07th of March 2020.

see as per your percewntile your probable rank will be around 13000, as per last year cutoff you have chances in nit jamshedpur for following stream,

Metallurgical and Materials Engineering

Production and Industrial Engineering

Sorry, there is no chance to get admission in NITs jamshedpur or any NITs with this percentile. You can try to another good engineering colleges. I would suggest you that you should reappear for jee mains April session.

• You have this year's JEE MAINS Exam in January or April.
• You should atleast have 75% aggregate score in your Board exams.
• You in the list of the shortlisted candidates( top 2,50,000 students in JEE MAINS)

(100-your total percentile)*869010/100

Where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session.So it is calculated as (100-97.78)*869010/100=19292And your category rank will be around 3k-5k.

In April session it is expected that 1200000 candidates are going to appear so your expected rank can be calculated a (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100

To Calculate the rank for B. Tech:
So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100

But Your predicted JEE Main AIR rank for 2020 is
61474-64710.


At this Score or Rank your Chances To get NIT Jamshedpur are very less.

You sc category rank will be around 3k-3500. You will get a seat in NIT Jamshedpur. You have to mention your state for information about branch.

To get admission in NIT jamshedpur you at least have to score 95.5 percentile and above so that you can get admission in a good branch at least. so if you are not scored this percentile in January attempt at 24 April at end and work hard. Hope this will help you good luck.

Haider hope you are doing well as you have  not mention your category here then  assuming as you as a general category student then you are not eligible for getting admission into NIT Jamshedpur with 90percentile. You have to secure at least 98 percentile to get admission into NIT Jamshedpur with good branch
