To get admission in NIT jamshedpur you at least have to score 95.5 percentile and above so that you can get admission in a good branch at least. so if you are not scored this percentile in January attempt at 24 April at end and work hard. NIT Jamshedpur computer science Engineering is in now a day very demandful.

Scoring 94.33 in JEE Mains is appreciable but that percentile may not be sufficient to get admitted in NIT Jamshedpur though you belong to OBC category. You need to score 97 and above percentile to get seat.

Sorry to tell you bit N.I.T Jamshedpur don't offer B.Tech course in mining engineering.
Therefore I will suggest you to look for other NITs and Colleges if you specifically want to persue
B.Tech  mining engineering.

Fee structure of nit Jamshedpur is
The course fee of nit Jamshedpur for one year is 2,20,000
In which tution fee is 62,500
And hostel mess advance is 16000
And the institute fee is 37500
Which sums for 11600 for one semester.
So  fee structure for a four year is 8,80,000 for a general Category student.
There is 100%fee  waiver for SC/ST/PH Students.

Hi there hope you are doing well. NIT Jamshedpur is best NIT in terms of placement. Now a days placement is increasing in NIT Jamshedpur however the present is also very good.the highest package goes approx 40 lakh. The median package of computer science Engineering in NIT Jamshedpur is 10 lakh per annum. ECE branch have median package of 8.5 lakh per annum. You can have a good future from this place. For getting into this college you must crack JEE mains. Hope this will help you .good luck

Nit Jamshedpur Is better than nit patna .but in case of infrastructure nit patna is better.infrastrictute of nit jamsheJams is impressive day by day.Nit jamshedpur is also better in placement compared to other nits .it has average package of 6 lpa with major recruiter amaon ,Adobe ,tata etc..In 2015 highest pacakge was 67 lpa as two students bagged this package.

And final choice will be yours
