Based on my research it's a very good college. It has btech and mtech, phd, MSc courses.  You can get through her, gate and jam in this college.
The college is overall very good having good faculty with good teaching experience. The facilities in the college are well good with infrastructure.
Nearly about  80% students get good placement in the campus.

Yes, it is compulsory for you to pay the seat acceptance fee, without which your NIT Nagpur seat will not be considered as accepted and you will be terminated from further rounds of councelling.

As you have secured 5740 CRL rank and 1830 obc rank in jee mains paper 2, then you have negligible chances of getting vnit nagpur and manit Bhopal.

Even with your obc category rank, getting manit bhopal will be difficult. Also as you belong from home state maharashtra then also by applying your home state quota, you cannot get vnit nagpur.

Here are the last year cutoff closing ranks for manit bhopal and vnit nagpur :-

VNIT NAGPUR :-
Home state general candidates - 2853
Home state obc candidates - 1652

MANIT BHOPAL :-
Other state general candidates - 3054
Other state obc candidates - 1557

So, aa you can see that you have nearly no chance of getting b.arch in these two nits.
But there is a chance that you can get b.arch in nit patna by your obc category rank. Because the last year cutoff closing rank for other state obc candidates was - 3828. So, you have high chances of getting b.arch in nit patna.

both IIIT lucknow and IIIT gwalior are good but in terms of placements iiit gwalior is much better .Its campus and infrastructure is also great but you have to do hardwork for admission in this..highest placement for iiit gwalior till now is approx 38 lpa and average package is around 14 lpa .It is well established and ranks high than IIIT lucknow.now talking about nit nagpur and nit surat.NIT nagpur is much better than IIIT in all the terms and main thing is IIIT provides only IT CScourses in engineering.

As per your question, to figure out which NIT would be better then one should compare their placements in that branch and infrastructure as well. So as per this,

1) NIT nagpur:-

They have highest CTC package of 22 LPA and and average CTC package of 7LPA . They have good infrastructure as well.

2) MNIT allahabad:-

They have highest CTC package of 36LPA and an average CTC package of 7.8 LPA as per their officials. And as per review their rating is low in terms of infrastructure.

So as per this comparison NIT nagpur have an edge on MNIT allahabad as per thier median package also as per Infrastructure . So as per my opinion you should go with NIT nagpur .
