being fresher , it is a good opportunity. Salary will increase based on your performance and skills that you will learn and implement over years.

Some data may not be uploaded as half of the year , education process got halted.

NIT is always a best option after IIT and it provides 100% placement assurance provided students work hard and learn and contribute in the process.

Getting NIT campus depends solely on your score/rank.  if your family income is less than 8 lakh per year then you could have applied for EWS. for now you can't change if you have not given for it.

You can apply for TFW if your rank is eligible for it. TFW means you dont have to pay tution fees but have to pay rest of the fees. you can apply for scholarship provided by institute , state and central government. it will be a financial aid.

Fee structure will vary as per campus. average will be 1.5lakh to 2 lakh per year. for hostel, additional 30k-40k expense will be added every year.

last year  closing rank for mechanical engineering for state quota  was as follows,

Then you can not get vnit Nagpur.
Also if you belong to home state then also there is no chance that your can get vnit nagpur.

Visvesvaraya National Institute Of Technology Nagpur (VNIT NAGPUR) is one of the best colleges in India ranked 27th on nirf.

Now if you are getting chemical engineering in vnit nagpur, then don't think much. Take vnit Nagpur, instead of taking mechanical engineering in some lower nits.

If you take admission in vnit Nagpur, the biggest advantage you will get is study exposure.
But if you take some lower nits you will not get that much exposure, and you will also lose interest in your subject.

Vnit nagpur is very better than any other low nits.
So go for it. And also you can prepare well your chemical engineering subject and can get a good placements in major companies with a good package.
So taking chemical engineering in vnit nagpur is better than taking mechanical engineering in some low nits.

Highest package as per the 2019 for a CSE graduate is 22L Per anum, Average package is arund 7L per anum.

For 2018-2019 batch lnt offered nearly 40 jobs in NIT nagpur, top companies like Microsoft, MindTree, Siemens and Symnatec, Nokia, Sulzer, Raymond also visited the campus.
