Sorry to say you but I think this is not always true about the the NIT Nagpur placement scenario. Previous years record to 2020 total 522 students has got placed . 136 company visited the campus. Salary was 22 lakh per annum per annum and the lowest salary was 3.3 lacs per annum 3.3 lacs per annum. As in of placement of 2020 in NIT Nagpur is even not very hopeful what there is a hope of chance for renewing the best in the coming years.

• Overall ranking
• Infrastructure
• Location/accessibility
• Branch that you are been offered(Core/interdisciplinary)
• Placement opportunities
• Industry Exposure

The preference order you should consider is:

1. MNIT, Electrical
2. VNIT, Electrical
3. Durgapur, ECE

I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your 4 years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.

NIT Nagpur is a good choice for Bachelor's Degree. ECE has good placement records in NIT Nagpur. On average around 75-80% students get placed. The Average package was around 7 Lakh and Highest package was around 20 Lakh. During Placement times, most of the software based companies allows ECE students to sit at their placement. So , an ECE person can become good Coder and could get Developer offer in Software companies. Overall ECE in NIT Nagpur seems to be good choice.

Both the institutes are excellent.

NIT jaipur has got a NIRF ranking of 35 but according to alumni and students reviews and ratings , NIT, Jaipur is better than NIT, Nagpur , however in both the colleges highest packages is around 40 - 42 lpa .

According to me, you should go for NIT Calicut as it has better ratings, placements and it is outstanding college as well. Also, between ECE and EEE, both are almost similiar branches. I would suggest you to choose institute first as branches are almost same. Moreover, follow your area of interest too.

I hope you are doing fine, Go for NIT Durgapur CSE - It will give you far better industry knowledge and experience . VNIT is no doubt a good college but again since both are NITs college doesn’t matter. Coming to package which seems to be your prime concern this is too early for you to think on that and then join a college. Average package is around 7LPA with maximum going to 30LPA and minimum being around 4. Now it depends on you how much hard work you put in and get into one of the top companies. In short I want to say, NIT Durgapur gives you a good opportunity to grab a hefty package ! Hope it helps

If you are interested in joining CSE, then you can choose any of the NITs. You will get tremendous placement opportunities at the end of your program, generally during the final year of your undergraduate study. CSE Department of any NITs has great prospects in the market.

Placement percentage of VNIT is also more than that of NIT TRICHY.

VNIT , Nagpur college has quite a intriguing placement . Companies like WIPRO, DELL, QUICK HEAL, Etc . are providing jobs and students are getting posts like chief executive engineer, HOD, etc. The highest package went to 36 Lacs, Lowest was 13 Lacs and the Average is 14.8 Lacs as per 2021.

MNIT , Jaipur also has a good placement . The highest package offered this year for CSE was 43 LPA , the lowest offered was 15.3LPA and the average is about 10 LPA as per 2021 .Deloitte, DE Shaw, Capgemini, Cognizant, Apple, Goldman Sachs etc visited the campus during MNIT Jaipur Placements 2021.

So based on the salary graphs and companies recruiting MNIT Jaipur is considerably good in terms of placements

If youre interested in CSE, take up CSE at NIT Nagpur. Switching between opportunities and interests is easier in IITs, but at NITs most of the Top Software Companies usually dont open below CSE and IT. Secondly NIT Nagpur is undoubtedly one of the better NITs, and has a huge locational advantage being near IT, Finance and Technology Hubs of nearby Mumbai and Pune.

Ofcourse if you dont have any general interest or are from the Southern Half of India, NIT Warangal ECE is a great option, with ECE being a branch of unlimited possibilities across Industry Verticals and Research. You have nearly 100% Placements at either NITW ECE or NIT Nagpur CSE. However being Interested in Sofware Engineering, the latter would be the best choice.
