AISSMS COE Pune Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

AISSMS has two hostels for girls. They are named after Jijabai, mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Tarabai, great woman warrior and daughter-in-law of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Both hostels are located in the heart of Pune city and are at a distance of 1km from the College. The hostels are very much secured. All the facilities are very close to the hostels. Hostels are well disciplined and regulated.

Timing of Dispensary:
All working days of institute- From 8.00am to 6.00pm
All Saturdays and Sundays- From 9.00am to 1.00pm

Facilities:

1. Consultation and distribution of medicines to students
2. Organisation of different camps and talks for benefit and awareness of the mass in diseases like Hepatitis, AIDS, Hypertension, Diabetes and Arthritis
3. It has a capacity of 20 beds
4. Well known doctors are regulary visiting the dispensary

The AISSMS College of Engineering has a central library equipped with over 35928 books and 15195 e-books. The central library also facilitates students to gather knowledge online through various collaborative databases such as the British Council.

The institute has several open playgrounds for students to play and enjoy several outdoor sports.

The central Computing facility of All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s College of Engineering support to the Educational and Research programmes of Institutes by providing intellectual access to information. For providing this, the internet facilities with 10 Mbps Lease Line Link have been established. The computing facility with the internet is provided with the high-end server and One Hundred computers. The students and staffs of various departments are using these central facilities for their research activities. For these activities, the central computing facility provides the research-based software such as C, C++, Java, Assembly language and open source Database Management System. It is also open to access different software used by different department such as Auto CAD. The laboratories with all facilities with Air Conditioning are provided. The main objective of the central computing facility is to provide opportunities, adequate scope and different educational amenities for all-round development of the student and staff of All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s College of Engineering.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The AISSMS College of Engineering has a spacious auditorium which is used for hosting events and seminars for the students.

The AISSMS College of Engineering facility for transportation includes its service buses that support the students and staff’s requirement for travel to and from the campus.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The laboratories with required facilities and air conditioning are provided. The main objective of the labs is to provide opportunities, adequate scope and different educational amenities for the all-around development of the student and staff of All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society’s College of Engineering.

The AISSMS College of Engineering Pune offers packing facilities for students, staff and faculty.

Department conducts mechanical workshop practices such as Machining, Welding, Black Smithy, Plastic Injection Molding, Carpentry, Fitting, Pattern Making, Foundry, Tin Smithy etc for the students of various disciplines. All First Year Engineering students, SE students from Mechanical, Mechanical Sandwich, Production Sandwich, and TE students from Mechanical Engineering perform the practical in this Department.

In addition to academic work, workshop facilitate students to carryout various work related to model preparation, machine attachments, supporting devices for different technical and cultural events and project work etc.
