Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: For general category admissions, candidates must be citizens of India.
Age: Applicants should have completed 17 years on 31 December.
Academic Requirements: Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects, with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects, are eligible for admission. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry or Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science, or Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility. Rounding off the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is not permitted.

Admission Details

Candidates should qualify (a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II) in the Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala (KEAM) and should be listed in the KEAM Rank List or JEE Eligibility.

College Infrastructure

Amal Jyothi have got most beautiful campus in kerala. Its so clean that we couldnot find a bit a paper anywhere around the hill. And thats why its nicknamed as "Malamukalile Sundhari" means Beauty on a hilltop. It has recieved award for best green campus by pollution control board in 2012.The infrastructure is surrounded by a well preserved garden all around which makes the campus with lot of frames for cool photography. Usually we walk to our class over a road of flowers like a red carpet.
