College Infrastructure

Good infrastructure for studying in good environment and for playing and maintaining good health for the people who are studying and graduating from here. It has a decent sized football and basketball ground.

Academics

This includes the faculty and the education culture of the college. In short the members in academics are decent and interacting. The environment for studying is also good enough for fresher students.

Placements

The placement cell and the members relating to this are hard working and overall placements of the college is good enough to persue management course for grooming and getting placed in a Multi national company.

Value for Money

For army background students the fees is around 7 lakhs including the cost of mess and hostel charges and for general background students it is around 9.5 lakhs including mess and hostel and college offers around 7.5 LPA as average CTC so its average

Campus Life

Campus life is kinda at par their some restrictions but it's overall good the best features are Their is a medium sized football ground and basketball ground and a volleyball ground for the students to play sports.

Anything else i would like is mostly that if you are getting better colleges like top 20 colleges for MBA India like imi delhi fms, or like imts then you can go Their but else you can come in this college.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is top notch , whatever u need during MBA degree all facilities are available for professional ,whole campus is wifi enabled libraries have apple amount of books which u needed during course, hostel are top notch with clean and attached washroom with two bed per room ,whole campus is covered by CCTV cameras for security, every lacture hall have smart board and auditorium is as good as top notch PVR

Academics

I am studying here MBA (finance and marketing) duo specialisation, quality of teaching of professors are too good , professors have excellent teaching skills with great industry experience, and here is special grooming sessions for student to make job student job ready .Latest with this year our syllabus is also updated like syllabus like entrepreneurship and project management added for 1 year student .

Placements

Army institute of management Kolkata provide with 100% placement record till date , with Avg of 8.5 lakhs per annum and highest CTC goes around 15 lakh ,placement team and placement officer are too good and great industry connection and placement process is smooth and simple .

Value for Money

Army institute of management Kolkata fee for army student is around 7.5 lakh and for general category student it is around 9.5 lakh , army institute of management Kolkata provide residential course of two year and return of investment of college is good because of Average CTC which is around 8.5 lakh and I think the college provide value for money also because it is backed by Army welfare education society .

Army institute of management Kolkata has magnificent infrastructure with professional staff which maintains cleanliness and hygiene around the campus. Once you come to the campus I can assure that you will love the campus.

Academics

Talking about academics, the quality of teaching and faculty is up to date and many teachers are from IIT and IIM. Yes sometimes they can’t explain well but overall they are good and a student can easily study here.

Placements

Placement is the most important thing if we talk about MBA therefore this is also taken care of by the college as the average package is near about 8 lpa and it will gradually increase as college and students are giving their best.

College Infrastructure

In the classroom, we have Wi-Fi though there is only two LAN connection per room. We have facilities like the library, gym, basketball court, table tennis room, football ground, badminton court etc. Food quality is eatable. Army command hospital is nearby so; we don’t have to worry about medical emergencies.

Academics

The quality of teaching is surely fine. The teachers are qualified and teaching skills is very good. Course curriculum is up to date. Relevant guest lectures are organised from time to time and there is certifications too. We get various grooming session time to time too.

Placements

Almost 90% of students got placed with 6-7* Lakhs PA. Average package 6 lacs. Bajaj Allianz, mother dairy, Emami Aggrotech, Mahindra finance were top recruiting companies. Top roles offered were business development, FMCG Sales, Insurance Sales. 80-85% of students got internship. The college is very supportive of all the matters.

Value for Money

The fee of MBA is fully value for money. You get a decent placement. The college should give a leverage to sit in at least two or more companies post placed in one company as it provides the opportunity to sit only in one.

Campus Life

I am not fully satisfied with the current campus life of the college, it is very strict and very disciplined. The facility provided is good and money worthy but it needs to improve on the method and practice of teaching.

Have a question related to Army Institute of Management, Kolkata ?

Is there any way I can directly do 12th after 10th no 11th and i am doing 10 in nios board want to do 12th from any school cause nios doesn't allow it . I live near jhajjar , Haryana and if I am able to do it then will there be any problem in jee exams due to no 11th and 1 yr gap between 10 and 12 aim iit delhi

Hello,

You can’t skip Class 11 in a regular school; it’s a mandatory step in the CBSE/HBSE system. However, since you’re doing 10th from NIOS, you can directly take NIOS 12th after completing 10th, without attending 11th. This is completely valid and accepted by JEE Main and IITs, as long as your 12th certificate is from a recognized board.

If you want to shift to a regular school, you’ll still need to take admission in Class 11, because schools aren’t allowed to admit students directly into 12th.

So, best option is to continue with NIOS 12th after your 10th, it won’t affect your JEE eligibility or IIT admission, even if there’s a 1-year gap. Just ensure you study Physics, Chemistry, and Math's as your main subjects.

Already lost many yrs of study due to personal problems should've been in 12 th right now instead of 10( nios ) so just want to do 12 next year no 11 th and then will i be eligible to give jee exams in the year i am going to pass 12, 2027 , aim to go to iit delhi , can't afford one more year loss please reply with accurate information

Hi there,

Yes, you will be eligible to appear for the JEE exams in the year 2027 if you meet all other criteria. But you cannot complete your 10th and 12th in consecutive years, as it requires a minimum of two years' gap between both classes.

NIOS, like all other recognized boards, follows this rule. You cannot skip class 11th. And if you complete your 12th class in 2027, considering you will complete your 10th class in 2025, you will be eligible to appear for the JEE exams in the year you passed 12th and the subsequent year.
