Eligibility Criteria

To enrol in the BITS Pilani Digital M.Sc. in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, candidates must meet all the eligibility criteria.

For Indian Students

Must hold a bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Should have secured at least 60% marks or equivalent.
Students currently enrolled in a STEM postgraduate programme with Mathematics are also eligible.
No age limit and no work experience required.
Must have proficiency in English, as classes are conducted in English.

For International Students

Must hold a three-year undergraduate degree with Mathematics, securing 60% or 6.0 CGPA or above from a recognised university.
An Equivalence Certificate from AIU/UGC or a similar authority is mandatory for non-Indian degrees.
After provisional admission, candidates must submit a passport copy and equivalence certificate.
No age limit and no prior work experience required.
Must be comfortable in English, as the programme is taught in English.

Evaluation Process

BITS Pilani Digital conducts trimester end exams. The exams are conducted in-person at officially designated BITS Pilani exam centres in India. Trimester-end exams held on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays). For each course, students can choose between two date and time options. Students need to follow the published schedule, rules, and guidelines.

North Zone: Chandigarh, Dehradun, Delhi NCR, Jaipur, Jammu, Lucknow, Pilani, Srinagar

East Zone: Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Ranchi, Silchar

For International students, online proctored exams are conducted. Students can take the exam from their country of residence. Students must have a computer or laptop with high-speed, stable internet.
