This College provides a hostel facility on the campus with 24 hrs armed security. The hostel has separate wings for boys with air-cooled rooms that are spacious, airy, well lighted, and fully furnished. All basic amenities are provided including a 24 hrs electricity supply, clean drinking water, nutritious vegetarian food, comprehensive medical care, and indoor as well as outdoor recreation facilities including a television in the mess. Students also have access to the internet for which the connectivity is through optical fiber cables. Hostel accommodation is granted on a first come first serve basis.

This College has a well-equipped medical room with qualified staff to provide primary health care to students as well as staff. First aid by a paramedic is available round the clock, whereas in case of emergency a doctor is available on call. In the routine, the doctor visits the college twice a week. Trained counselors are also there to help students overcome psychological problems like homesickness and learning difficulties.

The college has a well-equipped gymnasium hall/fitness center in the college.

This College has a library which has approximately 38,000 books in stock. In addition to course specific books, there are some prestigious titles in the reference section. A number of books of general interest, many handbooks & various yearbooks also adorn the shelves. More volumes are added from time to time. We subscribe to more than a hundred periodicals that include almost all reputed journals in the field of science, technology and management. Non-print study material in the form of CDs and an online access to a number of national and international journals is also available. To keep students and the teachers abreast with the latest issues, magazines of general interest and those relating to current affairs are also available in the library apart from many national and regional dailies. A list of new additions in the form of books, periodicals, papers etc. is displayed from time to time. The Library stock: DITM library has approximately 38,000 books in stock. This College provides a Sports facility along with academics, the emphasis is also laid on sports. We realize that sports play a significant role in one’s life. Apart from keeping us healthy and fit, they are a source of entertainment for youngsters and help in keeping them away from mental stress. They also contribute towards developing team spirit and qualities of leadership, belongingness, and sharing. Extensive facilities are available for all major indoor as well as outdoor games.
