As far as chemical department labs there is room for improvement. Other than labs the classroom and overall amenities are well above par. The canteen is good to hang out but the food can be a point of debate.
Excellent and co-operative staff very helpful and approachable. They guide you with various opportunities that are out there.The staff is well qualified and humble at the same time. There is value for your opinion aswell.
Placement opportunities are available but are not as lucrative. Some big name companies do visit to hire, but it is quite difficult to get a dream job. But that is the case for most of the institutions.
Definitely value for money. But you won't experience campus life. The location of the college itself is priceless with juhu beaches just a few minutes away. Also the quality of knowledge that is delivered is also high.
No campus at all. But there are sister colleges that you can visit. But I don't think having no campus is making it less fun. Even though there is no campus life there is much more to explore. You will not realise that the college doesn't have any campus
The college is at the prime location with loads off opportunities. Apart from academic curriculum, there is lots of opportunities in sports aswell. College has cricket aswell as Football team and have a respectable place in the scene.
The overall experience here at Djsce is great. There are a few things that can be worked out for the good. The campus has fully centralised AC and that seems an advantage over the most of the colleges in Mumbai. So I am quite pleased with my experience till now.
The course seems to be pretty good theoretically but lacks practical touch. They should've added more of practical experience for students which is really helpful in future. The lack of practical knowledge leads many of students to fall behind in the factory or industry sector where practical knowledge is really necessary.2 unit tests in 1 sem and there are 8 semesters as such. Now the colg has become autonomous!
The placement scenario was good enough. Almost 100% of students good placed through ma ss recruitment. The major companies which visited the college were TCS, Infosys,Oracle, Mastek, ZS Associates, LNT,Morgan Stanley,etc. The average package is 3,50,000-4,50,000 Rupees. Bajaj , tata , mahindra also visit every year.Highest pakage is not les s than 15 lakh per anuum.
The fees for the first year was around 1.4 lakhs which is a little expensive considering the other colleges. But due to facilities provided, it seems worth it . Around 1.3 lakhs would've been perfect if we consider the whole prospectus of the College.
The college doesn't have a campus as such but there's enough place in the college itself for relaxing. The gender ratio depends on different departments for e.g Biomedical department has approximately equal number of boys and girls whereas the mechanical department is full of boys. Many fests are held every held which engage a lot of students that help them develop themselves.

It is a good college overall development takes place resides in the heart of Mumbai such as vile Parle and just lacks in only one factor that is outdoor sports other than that it is one of top4 colleges of Mumbai including IIT Bombay. Completely Air conditioned and good.
It is one of the latest branch and future of engineering fields and is developing at a vast level. So it's something which we think to do when we have to do something out of the box. We have 2 term test one end SEM. 5 subjects 5 viva and 2 practical exam and one presentation throughout a particular semester there are 2 semester within a year so total 8 semester through out your 4 years.
I've heard that quite reputed companies like Tata, Mahindra, BAJA, etc visit the campus during the placements. There's a placement cell that one can get in touch for detailed review. The average package of a student is 400000 per annum and the highest package goes up 2500000 per annum. There was also a student in the computer Engg that took a package of 75 lakhs a couple of years ago.
The fee structure is 1.8 Lacs per annum which is kind of expensive for an average middle family but there are various scholarship available from government of Maharashtra such as ebc scholarship and TFWS- tuition fee waiver scheme etc which helps in making it feasible
There are many extracurricular activities takes place , there are different teams such as DJSracing - it builds formula cars and compete other international teams at formula Student Germany DJ's RoboCon - they build robots every year and compete with Indian teams and many other teams etc , there are indoor sport facility available in college such as chess carrom and table tennis but the college lacs for any outdoor sport facility.

Classroom with smart board , wi-fi , well-equipped labs , Huge Library and E-Library . Canteen food is quite good , its hygienic and price of food item are reasonable . The canteen infrastructure is decent .
The curriculum is good enough for both research minded as well as industry minded people . The recent changes in course work promot healthy appetite for programming as well as skill that are readily useful in industry .
Companies like TCS, Infosys , oracle etc come to our college . We can choose between any number of companies . And the placement cell sends us regular updates about the placement procedure . The placement department of the college is one of the most hard working in my opinion.
The fess structure is pretty expensive according to me but the infrastructure and placement is very good .
The campus is located in vile parle . So , there are lots of other college around . The locality good for students . The college has lots of sports activity .
The college is overall a dream come true for an engineering because it has all the amenities that a true student would need like workplace , library . Overall infrastructure is good .
It is amongst top 3 colleges in Mumbai for engineering. I had scorer more than 95% in PCM and wanted a Good college in Mumbai. Students here come from different parts of the city. Infrastructure is great and college is in center of the city so convenient to reach.Labs are well maitained.
Course Curriculum Overview 7/10 The curriculum and examination process is up to a point. There are two-term tests in the middle of each semester approximately in one month's gap. These term tests help us to score better in the internals. The whole structure is relevant, research-driven and fair. The slight pressure during these academic examination helps us to get overcome our fears of facing a critical situation.
About 45% students got placed. 18 Lacs and 3 Lacs was the package offered. JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Wipro were top recruiters. Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Business Analytics, Software Engineer .18 Lacs, 3 Lacs and about 6 Lacs was the package. About 10% got an internship in, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Tata Consultancy Service, Wipro were top recruiting companies in our college.
Fees are quite expensive as comapre to others but on the other hand they provide very good facilities as well our college is completely air conditioned.Fully spacious classrooms with projector with clean environment.
I have participated in football, I was there in college team college don't have any personal ground but our college trust have managed one for all college which comes under the trustee so overall it provides all which is must but not up to that mark for curriculum activities. A number of Committees are there to be a part of.
