1. Faculty being inaugurated in 2023 , has no permanent campus , though classes are held in Maharishi Kannada Bhavan , Faculty of Science . Land has been allocated for the construction of academic building for Faculty of Technology within North campus though a couple of batches might passout before completion
The Department is understaffed and faculties are not very experienced . A mandatory 67% attendance policy is implemented which might like a lot and itself discourages any extra co-curricular activities.
Though there is supposedly a Placement cell , but fundamentally it is dead . Faculty of Technology currently don't provide any internship or placement support which is kind of discouraging since the first batch is to enter the 5th sem , when normally companies are invited for on campus internship rounds .
The Faculty of Technology charges very wholesome being a government institutions though it provides fee concession based on parental income . That too , the Faculty has provided laptop reimbursement upto 50,000 rupee for consecutive two batches , that seems like a plus point
It currently have it's own permanent academic block , though land has been allocated , hence the department runs on a temporary campus , there isn't much of campus life , no active clubs are there , and college fest also seems like one in lifetime kind of activity
Umeed pe duniya kayam hai
faculty of technology is a small campus yet sufficient for us. the colleges has one building and 3 branches and the class strength is small . the campus has 2 small parks built in it and has 1 major entry for us. the classrooms doesn't have AC but the rooms are ventilated so it doesn't really matter that much.
academic of our college is good , the academics is comprehensive and up to date , the teachers and professors are experts in their field and ensures that we have no doubt left after the class gets over. the college offers various extra cocurricular subjects which helps us to build a strong personality.
placements of the college are not that good. if you take admission in b.tech in faculty of engineering then you might have to do M.TECH in future to get a high paying job. but if u are a bright student and manage to be in the toppers list of the college then there might be a chance to grab a solid package.
definitely . i'll pay so much less to complete my whole B.TECH degree as compared to other private or government colleges.
campus is small so there isnt a lot you can do , but you can take metro to MKT and enoy over there. there are good hangout spots near the college
