Hello Simran,  For getting admission in Ferguson college pune,  you have to score more than 80% in HSC if you are in general category.  If you are in other category then minimum marks should be more than 75%.

Hey Aspirant, Fergusson College offers a three- year Bachelor's degree in various fields of Arts and Science. This colleges issues three merit lists for admission on which the admission procedure depends upon. For B.sc cources, qualifying examination must be passed in Science Stream.

I would suggest you to again refer to the below given official website of Fegusson College it is no where mentioned that the 12the board of the student is compulsory to be HSC board. The only eligiblity criteria to register for any course is that you need to pass in all subjects of class 12th without any compartments.

As you know that the cutoffs keep on changing for all the colleges but after doing my research what I can conclude is that you stand around 80% chance of getting admission in Fergusson College Pune. Your name might come in the third list of the college but if you are a resident of Maharashtra state then definitely you can get admission in Fergusson College otherwise the cutoff might be higher for you as they provide reservation to the state students.

So I would suggest you to fill up the form of fergusson college Pune and also keep a backup option with you as well.

Yes, Fergusson college in Pune offers BA in political science course. This is a 3 year course and full time. The total fee will be around INR 5,560. For the first year, the fees is around INR 2,090.

Well, it depends on whether or not you are aiming to get into the aided college. The cutoff for the Fergusson (aided) College is generally hovering around 94.5% - 95 % for the open category students. If you belong to the open category then there is very little chance of getting an admission in the first round. But if you belong to categories other than the open category, then there might be a slim chance of getting an admission to the aided college as the cutoff is lower here.

However, if you are okay with the Fergusson (unaided) College, then you will most likely be admitted - basis the fact that the cutoff for this college hovers somewhere around 90%-93% for the open category students.

-> The major difference between the aided and the unaided college is the fee structure and the intake. Where the aided college has 8 divisions (A-H) the unaided college has only two divisions (I and J).

-> If some seats go vacant in round 1, then those seats are offered to the candidates in the waiting list based on their merit in round 2. However, sometimes waiting for round 2 maybe risky because there is no guarantee that the seats will remain vacant.
