Scoring anywhere above 50 will be sufficient to get you an admission in branches other than CSE (because, there has been a considerable rise in demand for this branch and thus, the competition is tough). 

Even a candidate scoring around 19000 rank can get the desired branch easily.But, GITAM has students who have even scored negative marks in their GAT exam. So, needless to state, it doesn't matter how much you score, you will definitely get a admission in GITAM irrespective of how much you score in GAT.

First of all, computer science engineering has nothing to do with the campus or the college you are joining in. CSE is a stream in which you get to learn things that are currently being applied at industrial level and that can be learnt not only in college but also online.  If you are truly interested in your stream then you can study anywhere.

Both SRM and GITAM are good in terms of infrastructure, faculty, etc. But, what you need to take care of is the college fees, transportation facilities (if any), hostel and food. Keep these points in mind while you opt for the right college.

Generally GITAM will not call you if you skip counselling on 9 May. Talk to their management for more clarification. Congratulations on your rank as you can get seat in any popular branch like CSE in any of the branches of GITAM, means Bangalore, Vizag or Hyderabad. It will not be recommended to skip counselling unless you are confident of getting a seat through EAMCET or BITSAT.

You can easily get CSE  at any of the three campuses(Hyderabad, Vizag or Bengaluru)

Since closing rank is around than 20k.

Since you are getting CSE you can also choose any other branch also as per your preference.

Hi Ipshita!! Congratulations on all of your ranks!! I would like to inform you that as far as VIT is concerned you'll not get CSE in any campuses,you have chances of getting Ece/EEE in campuses of VIT,Amaravati and VIT,Bhopal or you can go for management quota where you have to pay the highest fees and get admission to VIT,vellore and besides VIT you can get all the stream in all campuses of SRM except the main campus where you can get all branches except CSE and IT and for GITAM you can all branches in all campuses.

Now it's totally your decision that what'll you choose. Do some research beforehand on all these campuses about their placements,infrastructures and faculty.

According to previous year trends, you can get a CSE Branch in GITAM, Vizag. If you are scoring more than 100 marks in GAT then you can easily get admission in any desired branch.

The GITAM GAT 2019 examination was held from April 10 to 22, 2019. The entrance exam of GITAM GAT 2019 is conducted for admissions to various undergraduate programs offered at Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam campuses.

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) has declared the result of GITAM GAT exam on April 26.

yes you have chances for aeronautical engineering in GITAM , bhubaneswar, however every year cutoff changes acording to number of students are participating for it. so best of luck.

Ofcourse you will,don’t worry about it,5160 is a pretty good rank for any branch and considering the fact that around 1200+ seats are available in CSE,you can very comfortably make your way into CSE .Just make sure you attend the counselling.If they are not ready to offer you a seat wait it out till final round of counselling.Gitam does follow this “supply on demand” policy.

But if you can get SRM then you can opt SRM.
