Since it is a government college, the faculty members are highly educated. Our department is NBA accredited and is highly recognised. Follows the curriculum of KTU and is pretty relevant. The exams are moderate to easy difficult. The pass percentage is 40.
Academics are good enough . There is no spoon feeding process here. But college provide all necessary support for learning. Leactures are good but it depends on teachi g faculty some are boaring while other are excellent .

Cutoff list for masters' degree stream wise is not given. You have to wait untill counselling period. The rank list will be released. Universities have their own exam and GATE score is also accepted for MTECH admission.
For year 2018, GATE cutoff was 300 for general and OBC category for structural engineering.

You have a decent rank but i suppose what you have mentioned is your category rank which could be a bit too high for GCE Katihar. To be honest the trend change every year so may expect a seat for yourself but you might have to compromise with the branch. You might not be able to fetch yourself the top branches.
