The college has separate hostel facilities for boys students. The hostel provides many facilities to the students such as solar water filters, television, RO water, etc.

GEC, Gandhinagar provides accommodation facilities for the girls’ students. All the essential facilities are provided to the students such as RO water, indoor sports room where students can spend their free time, etc. 

GEC, Gandhinagar provides medical facilities for all the members of the college. A first aid kit is also available for any kind of emergencies.

Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar has a gym inside the campus with all the necessary machines such as dumbbells, cycles, treadmills, etc. Students can make use of the machine to stay fit.

GEC, Gandhinagar facilities include a library that has a collection of Textbooks, reference books, newspapers, titles, etc. It also has a collection of NPTEL videos. The library has an RFID-based Library Management System (LMS) that allows users to self-issue-return books and other resources.

The college provides laboratories facilities for the students so that they can have practical knowledge of the theoretical subjects. Laboratories such as Process Control Laboratory, Analog Electronics Lab, Computer Lab, Programming Lab, etc are available at the college premises.
