The college has good infrastructure with proper classrooms, labs and workshops for all branches. There is a library and playground available for students. Hostel facilities are present but still improvement is needed. Overall, infrastructure is decent for a government college.
The academic environment government polytechnic Darbhanga is average. Teachers are supportive and explain concepts clearly, but teaching methods are mostly traditional. The curriculum is somewhat outdated and needs improvement to match current industry requirement.
Placement opportunities are decent but not very High. Around 30% of students get placed, and average salary is low. However, many students get interships and opportunities in companies like Maruti Suzuki and railway sectors.
Being a government college, the fees are very affordable and facilities provided are worth the cost.
Campus Life is good with friendly environment among students. There are basic extracurricular activities, sport and events.
Overall it is good engineering College with all necessary facilities.
