The Government Polytechnic Darbhanga offers a number of facilities to the students. The computer centre equipped with more than 50 computers opens new doors to learning computer skills. The air-conditioned library allows the students to gather knowledge beyond the provided study materials. The boys' hostel with a capacity of 200 boys allows the students who live far away from the institution to have accommodation. The hostel is supervised by the warden. The construction of the girls’ hostel is almost completed. The sports facilities at Govt Polytechnic Darbhanga include volleyball, Cricket, Football, Basketball, Table Tennis etc. The college offers medical amenities and a health education program aimed at benefiting its students. Additionally, the college periodically invites a licensed medical professional to conduct health check-ups for the students.

- I.T InfrastructureThe Computer Centre has equipped more then 50 computers of state of art Intel Pentium IV machines. A leased line connection for internet Facilities is also in process. Also ESET Lab estable in college.
- LibraryLibrary at Government polytechnic Darbhanga, fully air-conditioned buildings with enough infrastructure to augment the needs of students. It has vast collection of many text and reference books besides other resource materials. The main objective is to deliver world-class service to its users by providing various books, journals, dailies, magazines and other related materials.
