GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysore offers admission to various UG and PG courses including BE, M.Tech and MBA. GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology admissions are completely based on the respective entrance examination scores. GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women admissions for UG are based on KCET or COMEDK UGET scores.
GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysore offers PG admissions based on the Karnataka PGCET/GATE scores for engineering courses and PGCET/K-MAT for the MBA course. Satisfying GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology eligibility criteria is mandatory for admission. Students will also be required to attend the centralised counselling conducted by the respective authorities and pay GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology fees to secure admission.

To be admitted into the M.Tech courses, one has to appear for Karnataka PGCET /GATE. The admissions to the MBA course admissions are conducted through Karnataka PGCET/ KMAT. After appearing for the exam, candidates have to register for the centralised counselling process.

I am studying 8th semester of engineering in computer science here. There are qualified lecturers and they teach in an understandable way. The syllabus is as prescribed by VTU. Along with that many other activities such as workshops and webinars on latest technologies are done frequently to make sure students are familiar with the flourishing technologies.
College Infra
The infrastructure of the college is really good and well maintained. There are various facilities like spacious class rooms, smart boards, fully equipped laboratories and almost all the required books are available in the library and also there are department specific libraries. Various types of food is available in the cafeteria, moreover it tastes good.
Campus Life
Architecture of the college building is beautiful. It is a eco friendly campus where there is a lot of greenery and there are various steps taken to be eco friendly like installing the Solar panels, etc.
Placements
The best thing about GSSSIETW is placements. Always the number of payments keeps on increasing batch by batch. There are many students who are being offered high salary packages which ranges from 3LPA to 19LPA. The placement process was very smooth because of the support from the college end.

The college provides the best facility for academics. The Computer Science department has the best faculty members with a lot of experience. We can approach any of the professors to clarify any kind of doubts related to subjects. we get a lot of opportunities to have discussions and implement our project ideas and a good opportunity to take part in many inter-college technical events.
College Infra
All the classrooms and laboratories are well equipped. The college comprises an auditorium, seminar hall, bookstore, computer laboratories, library, medical room, student's common room, cafeteria, CCD. Transportation is also provided for the day scholars in Mysore. It is an amazing place to study.
Placements
During this pandemic, many amazing companies visited our college for placements. The highest package being 19LPA. I'm thankful to the training and placement department for their efforts in getting the best companies to campus. Placement-related training is given in every semester. College provides us a very good opportunity to take part in the campus drive process conducted by top recruiters.
