    GNIMS Mumbai Placements

    Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai has a Career Development Cell that conducts the campus placement. Students at GNIMS are often recruited by companies from various sectors. GNIMS Mumbai placement cell provides career guidance to students. The GNIMS Mumbai placement cell also handles the campus placement. Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies placement is conducted on-campus and off-campus. 

    The GNIMS Mumbai placement process begins with the registration of students who are interested for campus placements. Requirements of companies are announced by the CDC and invite responses from students. Thereafter, pre-placement talks take place. Students apply to the company after reading the job descriptions as well as the requirements of the company. The resumes are sent to the company.  The company organises the preliminary screening process and shortlisting of candidates is done accordingly. Following that, the on-campus/off-campus selection procedure takes place, which includes written tests, group discussions, and personal interviews. In addition, the results are announced, and students must submit documents in accordance with the requirements. The company issue offers to selected students and sets up a schedule for them to join.

    According to the GNIMS Mumbai placement report (data taken from NIRF report) for PG management courses 2020-21, out of 221 eligible students for GNIMS Mumbai placements, 219 students were placed with a median salary of Rs.4,25,000. Some of the major recruiters of GNIMS Mumbai are ICICI Bank, HDFC Life Insurance, Primetals Technologies, Reliance Industries, Flipkart.com, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Motilal Oswal, Aditya Birla Capital, Nielsen India and many more.
