Passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination (PGET).

Admission is done through entrance test PGET followed by an interview to test the aptitude and analytical abilities, computational skills, fundamental in relevant basic subjects.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure at HIT Haldia is okay for MTech ECE. Labs got equipment for signal processing and circuits, but some old machines need update. Library big with journals, WiFi works in most places. Hostels separate for boys girls, clean but rooms small, mess food average spicy. Campus 37 acres green, sports ground for football, but no AC in classrooms, hot in summer. Helps labs but could be better.
