HICET Coimbatore Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

The infrastructure of the college is good and the college area is around 200 acres, so there is plenty of space in the campus. Canteens and cafes are also there so going out with your friends is pretty good. There is no Wi-Fi in my department, but the library is good; plenty of books are available and the library ambience is also good. The hostel is okay, I would say and the food is bad.

The teachers at this college are very experienced, with most having more than 10 to 15 years of teaching experience. They use smart boards that have everything they need to teach the lessons. The curriculum is revised every four years to keep it industry-ready. The college has a pass percentage of 45%.

Our college provides placement based on the students performance and the department they are in. The top recruiting companies in my college is Zoho, HCL, TCS, Wipro, CTS, Infosys, etc. The average salary package expected in placement is 300000–800000. We need to choose internship programs based on what domain you are in.

My College Infrastructure is an green campus with street light, playground and parking facility, We get here big central library, which provides all types of reference books for study. Classroom are decent high-class, and provide college. Computer labs are also decent.

Our teachers are very helpful to us and also highly knowledgeable. We do have doubt sessions every once in a week with our faculty. Our course curriculum is pretty relevant and also helps us become industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty easy to pass with a good pass percentage of 80%.

Quality of placement at my college is quite impressive about 80-90% percent of students get placed every year, In my department Information technology and the average engineering package is about 6.5 lakh per annum.

This college probably has a decent campus setup. canteens have bigger space with variety of foods. about sports facilities basketball court and cricket stadium has big space. In hostel, wifi available but slow during peak hours.

In ECE department some teachers are good . They teach difficult lessons in simple way. but some are not good they are hard to understand. lab helpers are usually nice. We must learn on your own to get high marks

placements are good. only 50% of students placed in top job in ECE or Computer science with the package of 10 lakhs per year. others students got placed with the package of 4 lpa. placement officers arranged placement class to crack the interview which helps the students lot.

Good college in Coimbatore city. The infrastructure of the college is good. There are parking facility in the college. All the classes are air conditioned with smart boards. Good libraries available in the campus.

great academics and curriculum for studies. Teacher are helpful and well experienced. In the ECE teaching method is different. There are presentations of the topics which makes topics easier for the students.

Quality of placement was very excellent our placement officer motivate use to learn more and new skills which are essential for the job. The highest salary package offered is 14.5lpa in 2023. The average salary was 4.45 lpa.

Great infrastructure in this college. Canteens Food Is Amazing They Recently Renovated And Now They Work Digitally But The Service Is Still Slow And Also The Hostel Is Still A Mess The Quality Is Low And The Buildings Only Get Paint At The Time Of Admission.

Academic are good. The teachers are knowledgeable, helpful. They make complex concepts easy to understand. The course curriculum is well designed, with a mix of theory and practicals. Regular assignments, projects and presentations help us apply what we learn. The college also offers various academic resources, like a library and online portals to support our studies.

College Placements are a bit low but hoping the current year and upcoming years gets better . The highest package are around 15.5L - 16 L . Even there are students who are placed with 8L per Annum. Placement head is Supportive.

HICET is decent infrastructure for Students& the classroom are modern Equipied FosteringcomfortableLearning environment, expansive digital Library , providingwealth of Resources at Students fingerprint

offer academics ,Qualified professors ,Practical labs and updated curriculum, teaching method could be more engaging ,Research opportunities might be limited and industry connections could be stronger

Placements are really got we are getting more and more MNC companies ,Salary is also bitter high everything was good and decent ,Many people got placed in MNC company like TCS,CTS,WIPRO ,ACCENTURE ...

College infrastructure was so good everything was well Maintained. They do have all the infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Classrooms are well equipped with smart boards but there is no wifi facilities. Every thing was clean but poor drinking water facilities.

I'm doing my MBA because MBA is one the most valued degree. Quality of teaching was very nice and understandable. Curriculum was updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. But practical exposure is lagging it doesn't makes us ready for job.

Quality of placement is not bad. There are more placement for MBA but very few well reputed companies. Percentage of students placed would be around 60 %. Highest package offered is 7 lpa for MBA. Placement process is easy and pleasant and college is very supportive.

It cost 1,30,000 lakh per year for MBA. I feel we aren't getting enough education worth this price. Because they aren't giving practical knowledge and education was not that well taught. It's not value for money.

Campus Life was amazing. There will be more frequent functions and enjoyment. Students can engage in all activities very supportive environment. Teachers and staff are very supportive. Location is far away from the city. No safe place.

It was great studying in this college. Very good college with well Maintained environment.

Beautiful infrastructure inside the college. Well maintained and clean environment. The facilities are upto the mark. Good wifi connection. Separate library building with more than lakhs of books. And also separate library for every department inside the department buildings.

I'm studying BE Biomedical Engineering 2020-2024 batch. The quality of teaching is very good. Well experienced staffs with high level knowledge. Well updated curriculum including all the recent trends and developments.

The quality of placement differs as per the department in the college. More than 100 plus companies come for placement to hire freshers every year. Every department have separate set of companies for hiring. Well developed companies are selected for placement. More than 75% of students are placed in this academic year. Salary package of average 4lpa.

Each classroom has a smart board even in laboratories too. Each department and hostel has a WiFi connection, but in hostel there is a limited connection. For food hygienic I'll rate 2.5/5 not that much good. All necessary equipments are been there.

I'm studying B.Tech Information Technology. Only because of my interest I have choosen this course. Teaching are quite good. We're studying updated syllabus like Artificial intelligence, Cyber security, Robotics and so on.

1st 2 years we have placement training class for every single week. From this class ,they thought aptitude, self introduction.End of 3rd year ,they will conduct a 1 month training class for 10 hours continuously. The average salary they offer is 3 LPA . College will support us for placement.

I'm paying for IT course is 1,26 K. For placement extra 3 K. I don't feel worth for spending these money because they focus only on theory side. Practical, coding side focus is mandatory for placement.

Interested students can engage in NCC,NSS, Games like football, volleyball, basketball. They also have gym facility for for both boys and girls. Connection between teacher and student is good, they support us for the presentation, projects. The area college located in safe, hospital and police station near.
