The infrastructure in our college is useful for regular academic work. In Mechanical Engineering labs, we use machines like lathes, welding setups, engines, and testing equipment during practical sessions. The classrooms are comfortable for daily classes, and projectors are used when required. Computer labs and the library are helpful for assignments and exam preparation.
I took studying B.Tech Mechanical Engineering because I like machines and wanted a core branch. Teaching depends on the subject and the teacher some explain well and some we understand by studying on our own. The syllabus covers the basics properly, but learning more depends on our own effort
A few companies come for core and IT placements, and some students get offers, but not everyone gets a good package. I would say around 30–40 percent of students got placed in startup companies in my batch.
In terms of value, I feel I am getting basic worth for what I’m paying, because the college gives all the required classes, labs, and study materials. But to really grow especially for placements and skills we have to put in extra effort, take online courses, and practice on our own outside college time and in college hard work is important everywhere.
we have small events, department things, sports on weekends, and some college fests. Students mostly spend time preparing for exams, group studies, or playing cricket/football in open areas.if I have to say I would say college life is more about studies with occasional fun rather than big busy events.
Dont expect everything to be handed to you you’ll have to do some work on your own, but that’s part of the learning.
Everything is updated in the college. I feel privileged to have my admission here. Though there are some network issues here but only few times. The food in mess is best. Teachers are co-operative and they are willing to help anytime. Laboratories are also good for conducting experiments. Ground is also present for playing sports. And the living spaces are kept cleaned day by day.
I am studying Civil engineering because i am interested in architecture and in constructing the buildings. We have a good faculty who encourages us not only in studies but also our talents to show case them. And i think my curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the feild and hence makes me job ready.
Placement is not a strong point of our college there are some what less placements but don't worry it has been improving lately but we still have a long way to go to even compete to top colleges. The placements here is mostly around 3.5 lacks per annum that to few people will grab the placements so most students opt for higher studies or GATE.
My course fee is 70,000 per year and it is worth. Because it is affordable for the middle class families and the facilities are good and we also bus transport facilities to college not only college busses but also public transport busses too available.
You will meet new faces, new and vibrant personalities, different talents and will have a chance to discover yourself because college will provide many opportunities in extra curriculum activities with many societies such as dance, music, literary, mediaetc. For course related we have a fest chemchord and students will participate in the competition every year. Overall campus life is good
It was a good experience
