i am thinking of doing 1 year PGDiploma in Media Management, from iiswbm,Kolkata. Will it be good to go for this college for this particular course, and also how'll be the placement given after completion of the course?

IISWBM is bssiness management college, look for media colleges as they will be more relevant to you and would provide you with good placements as well. This college is more for people want to do MBA .There are lot of media colleges who provide PG Diploma in Media Management. Opting for any one of the media colleges would be a better option, though IISWBM has excellent placements for the courses they offer.

Can anyone compare n rate EIILM, IEM ??

Hello,

Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM) offers three courses, viz., BBA, MBA and BBA in hotel and hospitality management. Total count of faculties is 35 and total students enrolled is 516. On the other hand, IEM which stands for Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata comprises of faculties count as 235 and total students enrollment is 722. It offers various courses such as B. E/B.Tech, M. E/M.Tech, PGDM, BBA, MCA and MBA. The NIRF has ranked it 101 among the other private colleges in India.

I have applied in IISWBM as well as in IEM... n have received the offer letter from IEM also... but I doubt a call from IISWBM... what should I do next??

If you have got a call from IEM you must at least appear for the interview go get some experience. But the college is not very good for management education. You should also register for Globsyn Business School Kolkata and IBS Kolkata (through the written exam of IBSAT) as it will provide better placement opportunities than IEM.

cut off for cmat and mat in iiswbm?

Cmat cutoff was close to 70% in IISWBM Kolkata. And mat cutoff for the same was close to 600 marks.

what will the college IISWBM for MBA be like?

As I am not here to provide false information nor to praise college or disgrace it.
.
I will provide you the information what is relevant.
.
Firstly the college was good.It used to provide quality of education,give maximum efforts on students, provide good facilities.
.
But as the college is old established ones,It was good until 2010 & 12.
But now, it is a old business school,
It has old Infrastructure,
Old management,
Older faculty,
Old building,
And many of the students of the college gave many negative reviews on the college similar to the points mentioned above.
.
Not the it has no good reviews among many negative reviews there are even good reviews.
So,you will be cleared once you join the college and take a risk to Bear even if it isn't good.
.
I suggest you to choose another college for your education within having any Risk in quality of education and career.
.

MAT score 69.82%, what is the cut off for IISWBM, Kolkata

Hii..
Last Year MAT cutoff Of IISWBM was 600 marks.
Although the cutoff may be vary year To year.But this would be general Cutoff for admission in IISWBM.You can keep this score in mind.
I think Your score is lower Thn the Last year Cutoff..I can predict that from your Percentile.so Your chance is Bit lower To get in to That college.

Well, both the colleges are best in their own. If you take admission in bibs than you need not to worry about getting the job.

There is 100% placement record and companies are great, they have good faculty as well in the comparison of iiswbm college.

What is the last date of filling the form of the university and do they accept MAT scores?

Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, College Square, Kolkata offers a 2-year full-time MBA degree with a total fee of Rs. 6 lakhs. According to last year, placement report placed 96% of the total batch with average salary as Rs. 6 lakhs per annum, Median salary as Rs. 5.5 lakhs per annum and maximum salary as Rs. 7.75 lakhs per annum.

Adani Group, Airtel, Axis Bank, CITI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, HSBC, IBM, Infosys, ITC, KPMG, Novartis, PWC, TCS, Vodafone, Wipro

Yes Aditi IISWBM accepts both CAT and MAT marks for admission. Regarding the last date of admission, it is not mentioned anywhere on its official website. I think you will need Collect from the reception counter of IISWBM Application Form and Admission Brochure against cash payment of the amount specified for the particular course.

And the best way to get accurate information is to call the administrative office in the working time period they will be able to tell you the whole process with the deadline in a much better way.

College Infrastructure

It's an ancient college of British ear linkage with the University of cal. It's one of the first Business school not only in India but to the whole south east asia and it's has all necessary facilities available in the which has required for the B school

College life is quite happening. Attendance is very crucial.

College Infrastructure

The college building is old but has almost all the necessary infrastructures like computer labs, central library, games room, gym. All the classes have either smart boards or projectors and air conditioned.

I am having a moderate experience.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is not so good. The college do have smart boards in some classes but they are not maintained properly and many professors donot know to use them properly. They do have few auditoriums but they are not that good.
