IMS Ranchi Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

The Institute of Management Studies Ranchi offers admissions based on merit and valid scores in the competitive examination. Applicants should have working experience of two years to get shortlisted for IMS Ranchi MBA admissions. The provisional IMS admission selection list will be published on the institute website and notice board on the notified date. 

Candidates with a graduation score of 50% or above are eligible to apply for admissions at Institute of Management Studies for a 2-year full-time MBA and a 2-year executive MBA. IMS Ranchi admissions are merit based followed by GD and PI.

How to apply for Institute of Management Studies Ranchi Admissions 2025?

• Visit the IMS Ranchi campus and obtain the application form for the MBA course.

• Submit academic details, upload documents as per the specified format and pay the application fee of Rs 500 (Rs 400 for SC/ST).

• Take a preview of the form and then submit it.

• Keep a physical copy of the application form for future reference.

At the end of the 2nd semester, each student is required to take up a 6-week compulsory internship assignment with an organisation of choice. To get IMS Ranchi admission, Applicants need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria and have a valid score in an entrance examination, good performance in interviews and GD.

• Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% from a recognised university.

• Aspirants must obtain a valid score in the CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA examination.

• Fill out the application form provided by the Institute of Management Studies, Ranchi.

• Appear for the interview and group discussion round with faculties.

• Aspirants must have working experience of 2 years and certification for the same If they have any.

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on the above-mentioned steps of admissions.

• Selected candidates will have their names on the admission list, released by IMS.

• Shortlisted Students have to appear for document verification and pay the IMS Ranchi executive MBA fee.

• This last step of fee payment will secure admission to IMS Ranchi.
