Ranchi the best city and the campus at night is best
Academics
The balance between courses is healthy with HR and marketing principles like organizational behavior, branding, recruitment, and consumer behavior. The professors are trained, but the learning via case studies is at a nascent stage. Tie-ups with the industry have to be boosted.
College Infra
IMS Ranchi,s College Infrastructure is Spick-and-span campus with well-equipped modern classrooms, a digital library, and mid-level computer labs. Wi-Fi is patchy, and hostel facilities are mid-level. Seminar halls are used for regular marketing and HR-related workshops.
Campus Life
Lively and interesting, with festivals, case competitions, and industry speaker sessions. Active marketing and HR student clubs facilitate easy formation of strong peer groups. Balancing studies and social life.
Placements
Approximately 30 to 50 % of them are placed, with avg. packs of ₹5-8 LPA. Marketing placements also come in a very diverse size, while HR placements are competitive. IT, retail, and BFSI industries are the big recruiters, but even then, MNC recruitment is of modest sizes.
Value For Money
Reasonable fee, good ROI but self-drive for quality jobs. Marketing students have more opportunities, while HR students need to establish good industry contacts for quality job opportunities.

Academics
The pace of the course is moderate with emphasis on HR theory, labour legislation, and case studies. Professors are friendly and role-plays and group discussions are common. Realistic HR simulations and tech-based HR tools are, however, lacking.
College Infra
Subpar infrastructure with clean and well-maintained classrooms, library, and computer lab but unstable Wi-Fi. Hostel infrastructure is subpar, and canteen infrastructure is poor. Seminar halls are good for HR workshops.
Campus Life
Good exposure in active clubs and HR conclaves but decent social life. Decent experience with annual fests, guest lectures, and case study competitions. Hostel life is decent but some corporate exposure on top would be wonderful.
Placements
Around 20% of students get placed in mid-level firms in HR positions with offers of ₹4-7 LPA. BFSI and IT firms are favored recruiters. Soft skills training is helpful, but exposure to HR analytics would also help with more placements
Value For Money
is cost-effective, but a lot of networking needs to be done to secure well-paying HR jobs. Internship is highly recommended since campus placement is biased towards already experienced professionals. ROI is reasonable but on personal effort.

MBA course curriculum has theoretical studies of business but lacks experience of practical implementation. Professors are helpful but have traditional patterns of instruction. Guest lectures and workshops are conducted 2-3 times in a semester.
College Infra
IMS Ranchi College Infrastructure is The infrastructure which is functional but not highly developed with a clean library and computer centers. The classrooms are not equipped with modern technology, and Wi-Fi connectivity is sporadic. The cafeteria is sub-par with lower variety, and hostels must be improved.
Campus Life
Campus life is quite busy, with student groups and network activities. There are fewer extracurriculums and industrial visits that decrease students' interaction to a certain level. Hostel life is good but there are hardly any cultural activities.
Placements
Approximately 55-60% of the students get placed, and most of them are in HR and marketing for pay packages ranging from ₹3-5 LPA. Finance and consulting is more difficult to get and most of the students opt for off-campus recruitments for better profiles.
Value For Money
The course fee is average but ROI is below average as the salary packages are not good. One has to take additional certifications or internships to get employed. If one is willing to hustle for a job, it may be worth it anyway.
