Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) Hyderabad is a standalone private institution established in the year 1964. It functions under the aegis of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the Government of India, and the Government of Telangana. IPE campus is spread over an area of 22 acres. IPE Hyderabad offers five postgradute programmes i.e. PGDM, PGDM - BFS, PGDM - HRM, PGDM - IB and PGDM - MM. The IPE PGDM programmes are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by SAQS. CAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ GMAT entrance exams are considered for admission to Institute of Public Enterprise Hyderabad. Final admission to IPE PG programmes will be based on the candidate's performance in the GD-PI, entrance test score and academic record. Meritorious students of IPE Hyderabad can avail scholarships offered by the institute. As per the IPE placement 2023 report (as on January 12, 2023) 48% students were placed and the highest salary package stood at Rs 24.75 LPA.

IPE Hyderabad Courses

The institute offers courses at the postgraduate level only. Institute of Public Enterprise Hyderabad consists of five Post Graduate Diploma in Management programmes. All the courses offered by the college are approved by the AICTE. PGDM, PGDM - BFS, PGDM - HRM, PGDM - IB and PGDM - MM are the PG programmes offered at IPE Hyderabad. The duration of these PG programmes is 2 years. Institute of Public Enterprise Hyderabad course fees for all the PGDM programmes is Rs 8 lakhs.

IPE Hyderabad Admissions

The college only offers admission to postgraduate level programmes. Candidates must meet the basic eligibility criteria for admission to PGDM programmes i.e. they must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PC candidates) and must have valid score in one of the following exams: CAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ GMAT. The IPE application form can be filled in online mode by paying an application fee of Rs 500. Shortlisted candidates are then called to participate in a group discussion and a personal interview. The final admission to IPE PGDM programmes will be based on the candidate's performance in academic, entrances exam and GD-PI.

IPE Hyderabad Scholarships

The institution provides a variety of scholarships to meritorious and talented students from various backgrounds. There are many IPE Hyderabad scholarships available for students from SC/ST/OBC backgrounds, religious minorities, and other disciplines depending on some parameters, including merit/ entrance test performance. There are also Scholarships for students from Designated States such as Northeastern States, Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh. The institute has a placement committee that assists the companies in conducting the IPE Hyderabad placement and ensures that the placement process is hassle-free.
