The placement record in IIIT Pune is average with package of Rs.3 LPA. It is advisable to try for MIT Pune or BVP. The admission to MIT and BVP is through MHT-CET. The placement of MIT and BVP is also good with packages over Rs.13 LPA.

hostel lumpsum fees for previous year was around 45000 including hostel fee 24000 per year ,mess of 16000per sem and refundable one time security of 5000 

i am not sure if obc category is included in the list of giving 100% tution fee waiver .
