Hello student,

The colleges that you have mentioned are the most prestigious colleges one can get via MHTCET and DTE counselling in the state of Maharashtra.

As far as I am concerned, after my proper analysis and scrutinization of all the aspects of a college, this is my prioritised sequence of your above mentioned colleges:

  1. IT at VJTI, Bombay
  2. CS at PICT
  3. ENTC at COEP
  4. CS at IIIT Pune

I hope this helps, All the Best!

Hello,
IIIT Pune has quickly established itself as one of the sought after institutes in India. Every year demand for it increases and its location in the city of Pune makes its closing ranks get even lower.

It offers two branches with 60 seats each. Going by the previous trends, you won't be getting a seat in IIIT Pune. It's CSE and ECE branches closed by 12000 rank. You can expect it's cutoffs to go even lower than that this year. You should be looking at other colleges and also Maharashtra State counseling as state of Maharashtra has various good colleges.
Thanks

Dear aspirant,

If you secure a seat in iiit pune in the computer science branch in the csab round so fee remission are done on the basis of family income. Though for sc/st category full tuition fees will be remitted.

The college predictor will help you to predict the possibilities on the basis of previous year trends. Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Dear student,

The admission to all nits or iiits or gftis or iiest is purely given in jee mains marks or ranks.
Iiit pune is one of the good colleges in India, that accepts only jee mains score or rank for giving admission in btech courses. It doesn't accept mhtcet scores.

For securing a seat in iiit pune your jee mains rank must be very good.

So, also check out the following link to know more about iiit pune :-

All the best!

Go for CSE at IIIT Pune, over ECE ar NIT Andhra Pradesh. Not only are you securing CSE, but also not compromising on the Government IIIT Tag. Secondly IIIT Pune has a huge locational advantage in terms of training and placements, being located near IT and Technology hubs of Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad and nearby Mumbai. The Institute has strong faculty, infrastructure and research facilities.

Hello,

I hope you are doing fine, IIIT Pune would be a definite choice!

Pune is one of the leading IT Hubs of the country. In a recent news article Pune was featured as the Second Highest Paying City for software jobs across India (after Bangalore). With MNCs like Nvidia and Research Organisations like NCL ( National Chemical Laboratory, Pune (http://www.ncl-india.org/) ) and IISER Pune ( Indian Institute of Science, Education and Research- Pune (http://www.iiserpune.ac.in/) ) Pune gives ample opportunities for the ‘research-minded’ students.

IIIT Pune has a total intake of 120 students per year only!
60 students for Computer Science and Engineering.
60 students for Electronics and Communication Engineering.

IIIT Sri City takes a whooping intake of 270 students per year!
200 students for Computer Science and Engineering. I feel the lesser the number of students, the more focused and conducive is the environment for learning. Each student has a better chance of receiving greater attention of the professor and also the number of opportunities per student increases.

IIIT Pune’s own 100 acre campus is expected to be completed by 2021.That is just within 3 years! It is being set up in the cradle of Industrial Zones of the city and would be ‘Rada’ (IIIT Pune’s lingo of amazing :P) upon completion.
IIIT Pune is soon to receive its own director. This would only add to the pace of development of IIIT Pune.

I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.

Good Luck
